No, definitely not true. I have been buying Tall drinks all the time and was able to get reward for it.

Did you actually purchase the Tall drink and confirm that nothing was credited into you Starbucks Rewards or you just take the barista's word for it?
You do realize that the quality of Starbucks barista is hit and miss, right?

i can confirm tall size also entitle for buy 10 free 1 reward. bought latte tall size RM12 minus 2 tumbler is 10 plus sst only. somemore u can request double shot without additional charge

I bought plenty of tall size with tumbler discount and did not get reward since December 2018 and reported to CS.

Not sure for mugs, but my tumblers are from different country and no prob getting the discount.

If mug is entitled for discount, any country should be entitled.
