this is now confirmed. i went to mobile tech service center in amcorp mall yesterday for my friend's phone. its available...im not sure if u guys know about it. but hope this info helps. this version has most of the bugs fixed. so go get it.

btw has anyone realised a change in www.nseries.com website about n80? it now supports VOIP calls. but im not sure old n80 users has this function or not. do check it out.

Why can't i restore my phone original settings by going menu>tools>settings>phone>general>restore original factory settings

After i done that, the phone restarts but all data is still the same before, nothing changed and the time remained the same too together with msg and contacts.

try this instead...

*#7370#

complete wipeout. back to factory defaults even data loss. be careful...make sure u back up everything before doing this.

*
no need change sim card...

but i goto maxis center ... the counter technician say no need to change the 3G sim card also can use... tat why i confuse now..
*
no need change sim card...as long as ur current sim card is 64k sim then all u need to do is activate 3g. then u can use it. the change sim card is for additional things n stuff u get from a new sim card. thats all. no big diff... i changed my sim card. my best fren didnt...he is using 64k sim card. basically no different. we both can video call each other perfectly.speed is same.

Anyone who flashed their N80 with the latest v4 firmware, please share your view on the differences you felt compare to the last firmware. Thanks!

my fren he flashed it but seems like he is having a major problem. as batter cant last more then 5 hours. he charged in the morning...but later at 4pm the batt died.he didnt even use it. he was sleeping after lunch...

so im not very sure wats the problem.but he is going to have it checked tomolo. but otherwise the new firmware is great. the bugs are all fixed.

ill keep u guys updated.
