I don't know whether this will sound stupid or not.. But what if I have a I-Mobile (Samart) Nokia N80? Can I bring this phone to the service center in Amcorp Mall and get it upgraded to the latest firmware?

I know I-Mobile and Zitron are both considered original set in Malaysia.

If you want longer lasting battery life.. u will have to ask yourself this question.

Do u need 3g connection most of the time? If YES, then I guess buying a spare battery is the only way forward.

If the answer is NO, then, you can switch your Network Connection from DUAL to only GSM. This way, your phone do not need to constantly search between 3G and GSM network when you go from places to places. This way, your battery life will be conserved and last longer.

I can tell you that from my experience, this have something to do with the brand of mini-SD card u r using. I was previously using Kingston mini-SD 1 GB and was having the same problem like u. Sometimes, I can't format the card or sometimes I can read certain things of the card. Imagine recording something on video and then to find out that u can no longer access it vmad.gif

But nevertheless, the only way forward for me was to either use the OEM mini-SD card given OR use the RIDATA mini-SD card. I'm currently using this card because the dealer from which I bought the phone from told me that the OEM mini-SD is actually a RIDATA card. So far so good for me. No more such issues. Everything is stable biggrin.gif
