Can anybody recommend me a g-shock model which is similiar to the old mudman G9010.
Coz mine just recently died on me due to condensation in the glass which may have killed the watch internals.

QUOTE(Wazzzap @ Sep 26 2015, 04:09 PM) Guys how do I remove the water vapour inside the watch? I bought this watch from the red army watches in one utama that retarded sales man told me its normal and there's no need to do anything about it wtf please don't buy any watches from there after sales service is so bad Since its still new, just send it back for them to fix it?But wait, even if the sales person is retarded, if still bought and accepted the watch in that condition and you were physically there. So theres that for your consideration. |

QUOTE(Apple_DarreN @ Sep 26 2015, 04:57 PM) I'd recommend taking it back to them. There should be some fault on the gasket, crown or even the crystal itself. If not takut your movement may rust overtime due to the water build up. 1to1 exchange, but then again, he accepted full knowing that it had this problem in the first place. |

QUOTE(Wazzzap @ Sep 26 2015, 05:09 PM) Sorry I forgot to mentioned that this watch bought in 2014. past one year warranty period already. when I brought it back and ask them to fix that's the answer the salesman gave so I think I will bring to another place to fix it Did you abuse the watch prior to water seeping into it?Coz it happened to my g-shock when i stupidly opened the case back and might have not tighten it correctly. The sales person is also pulling your leg that its normal for water vapor to be present. Either sell it or get it repaired. |

This isnt good for independent watch repairers. Good business strategy on swatch to ensure that only they can service/repair your watch and nobody else. |

QUOTE(patryn33 @ Sep 27 2015, 11:23 AM) Service anyone can do it, repair harder. Can PM me the rolex service guy, does he do omega's?Service is just cleaning and oiling. My local watch maker is certified Rolex service guy, he does PP , AP, JLC. They are trained to know how to dissemble and assemble parts clean and oil. Since swatch has factories in China, I am certain parts does leak out. There are many old broken ETA mvt out there to let ppl use as parts. |

QUOTE(Hans.R @ Sep 28 2015, 11:02 AM) One poster mentioned that since ETA fabricates the components from china, the parts do leak out from those factories.or you cannibalize a chinese knock off ETA movement, i read that most if not all of the component are interchangeable between the real ETA and china knock off ETA movement. Yours is a used squale right? The 1521 or the 1545? I am planning to get the 1521 when gnomonwatches stocks them up in another 2-3 weeks, but most likely at a 5% price hike. QUOTE(Vorador @ Sep 30 2015, 12:50 AM) Guys mind if I ask a stupid question? The chronograph piece looks too large relative to the persons wrist, my personal opinion. In case wearing a cufflink shirt, is it looks STUPID to have my watch stick outside the cuff? This happen coz my watch is kinda big (45mm) and can't fit into the cuff itself. Understand that it looks cool in photograph (liek below) , but in real life?
