QUOTE(akachester @ Oct 6 2006, 05:09 PM) Could it be fixed?Give us more news once its done ok... I brought my phone to the Nokia Service Center at Plaza BB...they said they can't power on the phone and there is nothing they can do there to fixed the problem, so they need to send my phone to HQ to fixed the problem, which takes a week. I need to use my old SE T630 for now... sigh

I am wondering, if we use high speed miniSD in our N80, for example the 80x miniSD, will that speed up the memory card read n write time? Or it doesn't show much effect? Does the N80 hardware support the high speed memory card?

QUOTE(iRonTech @ Oct 13 2006, 01:29 PM) don't think will help up, lagging by OS, not memory read/write speed. U misunderstood my question. If u install programs in phone memory, it run respectably fast, but if u install the same program in memory card, it will tend to lack...i m asking will a faster memory card help this kinda situation?

Calling for all N80 users who still suffer from Loose Sliding Mechanism:Please check the 1st post under Other Tips & Tricks: To fixed N80 loose sliding mechanism. Click the spoiler to check out the full tips. I did it on my N80 and never look back, my N80 sliding is firm and steady until now, not even a slide movement Some of the N80 users who tried my tips kinda like it...but still, try it at your own risk This post has been edited by Survivor: Oct 17 2006, 08:16 AM

QUOTE(kenneth87 @ Oct 18 2006, 02:03 AM) I think it is completely normal. N80 has light sensor build in, and the phone AI is trying to adjust the lighting as according to your environment. If you are in a bright place, the keypad lights might be turn off to save the battery usage...and when the environment become darker, the keypad light will turn on....nothing much to worry about This post has been edited by Survivor: Oct 18 2006, 07:42 AM

QUOTE(kenneth87 @ Oct 17 2006, 05:57 PM) U stick 1 by 1 to the mechanism o 1 shot few layers and insert it to the mechanism?? I worked on the cellofon tape first. Taping one on top of the other until they become thicker (5~6 layers), then i cut it into a small strip n stick it in the sliding reel.

QUOTE(-vip3rleon9- @ Oct 26 2006, 10:24 AM) yea i also wanna know the answer to this question.. besides that, any other worth noting problems? really wanna know all the pros and cons of this phone before getting it.. As far as i know and experienced, the latest firmware works like a charm, very smooth, fast respond (well, depends on personal defination on "lags" ) and so far never crash on me... I would say the N80 is definately an excellent phone This post has been edited by Survivor: Oct 26 2006, 11:10 AM
