Can i send my original N80 to Nokia Service Centre for flashing free of charge? Does flashing remove the whole phone memory and restore to it's factory settings?

Why i cant restore my phone's factory settings by going menu>tools>settings>phone>general>restore phone original setting? After putting in the lock code nothing happens except the phone restarts.

And ya is there silicon casing for N80?

help me again pls blush.gif ... my pdf file won't open, says something like operation failed, not enough memory, thats strange cos my memory card has like 100 MB of free space and my pdf file is only 3 MB, anyone knows why? notworthy.gif  rclxms.gif

Glad to hear that U have received it, FTI, pls ensure that your phone memory is adequate instead of your memory card and pdf file size. My advise is for u to reset the call log time to 1 day only, and please ensure that other apps is not open at the same time too.

Thanks

It should be your operating memory rather than the memory card capacity...you can try Taskman to monitor your operating memory smile.gif

I just called Mobile Technic Sdn Bhd, which is listed under Nokia Website as their authorized care center, they still don't have the v4 firmware. I wonder why Nokia distribute their firmware not accordingly one....sigh

went to a phone shop yesterday
and asked about the N80.
Almost picked it.

but the shop guy said
"personally I won't encourage you to buy N80. It's because the phone is so powerful that the movie is in MP5 file and other phones couldnt read this file. So does the pictures. It's so high in megapixel that other phones can't support it."

Haha...i got it dy guys...when you are in browser, the PDF file is saved in cache except you choose to save it in certain folder...so if you clear the browser cache, the file will be removed.... smile.gif
