I'm using 1mb located in Bandar Sunway.
My problem only started early this moring. Around 5am. Can't seem to connect to any peers and BT is stuck at 0 even if I'm using proxy. Before that I was able to get at least 40kb. But from 5am until now the speed did increase once in a while. Once it even blasted to 80kb but went down again after 30 mins.

Today I'm at least able to connect to a few international peers once in a while. But the speed I get from them is only like 2kb/s. Overall speed I get is about 10-15k.

I like those ads! I probably might use them to promote streamyx.

read the attached pdf of a newspaper cutting (Sun 14th Jan 2007)
at the end it says that the expected repair completion is February!

Yeah like that can be trusted. It was said to take only three weeks since last month. Lets hope they take a year to fix it to provide good service.

Don't get too excited. Its not like this is the first time people are able to connect to international peers and get good speed. It happened many times for the past few months just for it to be throttled again a few days later.
