tried downloading something random today from rapidshare.com (not rapidshare.de) and so far, connection seems ok.. currently using the cFosSpeed v3.12 (the speed bar at the bottom right corner) and Firefox's Download Statusbar plugin (the download status at the firefox's bottom left window).. 117kbps, that's my standard speed for downloading something from the web, but torrents usually around 178+ (depends on trackers, seeders) and from p2p like Ares is around 150+..

QUOTE(ming2020 @ Jan 12 2007, 07:40 PM) Screamyx Rm88 user here. it is normal for tmnet to 'mistakenly' changed (upgrade/downgrade) the speed of our packages... i had a few issues before, where my 1mb package was downgraded to 512, i called n complained but they said "someone authorised a downgrade for this account.. bla bla bla" and i was like who the fcuk wud want to downgrade? it's juz another way of saying "there's been a computer glitch in the tmnet system, sorry sir"I came back home today to find that my UPLOAD speed has been capped to 160kbps. Anybody else? Maybe another TM NUT idea for killing our p2p traffic??? now i gotta check my account myself thru the 192.168.1.1 website, making sure it stays 1mb package.. geez. |
