ok.. I did try this few times.. I found that the new bitcomet (ver 0.6 and above) have very slow download speed.. I install back 0.59 and here is my download result..I am using direct dial up modem and didn't set static ip..

my speed is download 90-128kb/ upload 19kb (this is bandar utama area and using rm88 package)

my gf speed is download 50-58kb/ upload 16kb ( this is in Sri kembangan area and using rm66 package)

when the link down that time.. speed drop to 30kb (dl) but mygf there no problem at all.. she even can go msn, gmail.... so I just go her place to online..

btw.. to prove.. ths screen snap on today 9:45pm (5/1/07)..the fastest the download speed i saw is 135kb/s .. but rarely reach that speed..and I check my line is upgrade to 1.5mb..

Actually those speeds can be misleading. If you are downloading mostly from local IPs, then you can reach those kind of speeds. But from outside (international IPs), it may not look so rosy (unless on VPN of course). Try to differentiate between local and foreign sources... hmm.gif

I make experiment with the same seed by using my neighbour (friend) rig but with bit torrent 0.8.. guess what.. the speed is only 25++ for the download.. same time just few houses away...after he change to 0.59.. the speed go 100+ and how to tell is the seed from local of overseas?? all movie i download is from overseas web sites and seed by those people...
