he happens to have his port plugged into a 3mbps capped line at the dslam, thus the actual rate now is about 1.5mbps speed at streamyx account control. so that is why he can utilize up to that speed.

and yes, those ports are not throttled

1mbps package la, but like i explained, if the dslam cap is at 3mbps, you may get full speed at times...if not then all 1mbps lines are 1.5mbps by default at the login server, iianm la, so if you are capped at 1mbps at dslam, the max you can go is 1mbps....to check this you need to login your modem and check the dslam cap.

as long as the modem is supplied by telekom and a few other modems (actually most of them can wan) you can check leh...not too sure what your modem is though
