would like to ask .. before throttle what is the dl/ul rate for a normal 512 package ?

50 kB/s to 60 kB/s/20kB/s to 30 kB/s.

Of course, getting your upload speed around 25kB/s+ would kill your download speed.

0 kB/s download.
0 kB/s upload.

All peers are international, I was downloading Zero no Tsukaima (I'm so glad I found a direct download link).

This is my second update, im pretty shock myself after seeing a big improvements in my speed. Well, my guess is tmnut temporary disable the throttling thingy after the earth quake in taiwan or maybe im just plain lucky.

Btw, im using 2mb packages, and the weird part is, most of my seeders are not from local.

P/s: Dont ask for tip about the drastic changes on my speed, i never change any settings, heck i barely touch my torrent when my speed down like hell. I just realize it for the past few days when my friend add his torrent to my pc.

INTERESTING!! Let me grab a torrent and see the results.

I'll post the results later.

If they do, they'd be quite happy since their throttling device works....

It was a completely legit file btw.

I had to use PAW so that I can connect to the tracker.

I'm gonna try this again, with a different client, later.

Sorry to hear it man, even with the god seed...  sad.gif
My third update, the speed still constant without any changes  +/- 20kB/s.
Last night i manage to get 200kB/s and above, until this morning.

I dont know if this will help you, but this is my major setting on my utorrent:

After apply the setting, restart your pc to monitor any changes.

Forced encryption huh, I'll see what happens when I do that.

and also 8 computers....XD

No, there are special WAN modems that allow you to combine the speeds by having all 8 telephone lines into it. It is expensive though...

my uTorrent went til 60kbps last night n this morning coz dloading bleach + heroes but when torrent on i cannot surf.. heck i can't even access my modem.. had to close torrent to surf internet

That is a different problem altogether. If you're using wrt54g (yes they do have this problem), you need to use dd-wrt firmware to fix it. There are other routers that do have this problem as well.

most of my tracker status is "tracker connection error"

have to depend on local peer and local tracker for the speed...

but still can download although is slow  shakehead.gif

Read post # 1 on that thread. It should help you connect to tracker, but unfortunately, not international peers.

Speed is on super slow crawl. 1 kB/s, pretty much due to my streamyx having a problem, having timeouts (50% or less of the time) to every single ip on earth.

Time to bombard their CS with calls. I can't even play online games, or connect to local peers, sigh.

Occurred on March 29th, about 9 PM, it was fine before. I doubt APCN2 has anything related to this, it is a friggin international cable anyway. Plus, I'm having frequent disconnections, and I doubt the CfosSpeed I'm testing has anything related to it (I'm on a router, so I can use another pc if this pc's windows was screwed up by me, tried, found out CfosSpeed wasn't at fault).

Yesterday around 6pm i got super fast speed!!!  rclxms.gif  But normally can reach 40-60kbps... area TTDI using 512k package

Wow... I think you have the potential for more. Try using the proxomitron thingy or PAW so that you can connect to trackers (it is on this forum, find it, yeah it aint pinned although it works well to connect to trackers).

Have they really throttled local peers? I haven't actually bothered getting anything from local peers in the past year or so, so I don't know sad.gif
*
Pretty much, they do. I posted a thread on it, but got deleted(I don't bother to ask moderators why, so don't ask me, since quite a lot saw the thread, I guess the news spread). Anyway, briefly speaking, I downloaded the latest Naruto but was unable to get beyond 20 kilobytes per sec. Same thing, if I decided to download 5 Narutos at once, the speed won't get beyond 20 kilobytes per sec. Yeah, pretty much throttled.

We want to improve, yes? Tell me, why must we compare ourselves to countries that are worse than us? Plus, there are more countries better than us than those that are worse than us.
