With 10 torrents running in a row, i can achieve around 100+kb/s.
However, they are ALL from LOCAL peers and once in awhile, a super Japan seeder.

QUOTE(jason18689 @ Nov 5 2006, 11:39 AM) i thought it is depending on how many seeders ? Your "trick" will cause you to download slower as time comes when everyone limits their upload at 3kb/s. mine getting 400kbps all the time.... from Klang Lama Happy Garden , using rm66 package ! 1)*try limiting till 10kbps on your upload bar* 2)*limit the upload to <50kbps* *from time to time, reduced it to 40 then 30 then 10 then 3* *your download speed drop very less onli !!! * You're clever. |

20-30kb/s currently.
That is for 4-5 torrents running at the same time. |

Seems like the floodgate is opened. The calm after the storm ? Perhaps a slightly loosening up.
How long will this last ? Volume packages approaching us soon ? This post has been edited by IntegraTypeR: Feb 1 2007, 08:11 AM |

QUOTE(RangerRed @ Feb 2 2007, 10:22 AM) Well am glad u all r happy now... instead of keeping quiet about getting unthrottled connections u blab it here. TMnut is not thaaaaat dumb. Probably another phase of testing its throttling devices, or they were just feeling generous for awhile. This post has been edited by IntegraTypeR: Feb 2 2007, 10:43 AM |

QUOTE(the65thsquare @ Mar 20 2007, 12:27 AM) I would like to share this article with you all. Not as good as their upgrade but we did receive our 1mBit to 1.5mBit upgrade as well.http://www.o2.com/media/latest_pr_2405.asp Apparently, some European ISPs give free speed increases for their users. Fat chance our so-called 'best ISP in SE-Asia' (syok sendiri one - proof here: http://www.tm.net.my/tmnet2006/corporate.cfm) will ever give us such free upgrades. Speed sucks again. Wonder what they are up to this time. |

QUOTE(the65thsquare @ Mar 20 2007, 09:08 AM) I heard about that. Wonder if there was an upgrade for the 512 connections. Got any sources I can read? It came unannounced, suprisingly (knowing that TMnet always announce their good stuff and kept us in the dark with the bad ones). So i have no source for you to read about it. All i know is that my download speed is maxing out averaging around 190kB/s and so were my friends (personal). As for 512kBit users, i have no idea. None of my personal friends are using 512kBit. |
