I came back home today to find that my UPLOAD speed has been capped to 160kbps.

Anybody else?

Maybe another TM NUT idea for killing our p2p traffic???

My BT download speed with stricklemyx now is average 1kbps only. MAX is 3kbps. MAxis broadband also very bengang, why auto disconnect after 30mins of inactivity? Again back to the stupid old days of 56k. Thats what happen when the place is run by idiots.

i don't often torrent much these days. when i recently was torrenting a file after a long break from not touching BT, my utorrent already was reporting a red flag (meaning port not open). changed port, and it worked fine. VERY heavy throttling in the day time and only getting speeds of between 0.1kBps and 2kBps. the moment the clock ticks to 1am, the speed goes up to an average 10kBps (ranging between 5 and 15kBps). still haven't found out exactly what time they throttle it down to below 2kBps yet, but probably around 6am to 8am. I'm in Ipoh and this torrent i'm using as reference are mostly international peers/seeders.

The throttle is actually not OFF but still throttle at 1 to 20 kBps from 1am to 8am.If they do a complete throttle off will be good.

100+kbps without VPN! NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE IN MONTHS!!

Strange thing is i still can manage 100+kBps dl for files without seeds or peers

wondering...is it VPN thing really makes big difeirents?i ask someother forum they just lolz
