QUOTE(angchinyew @ Jun 24 2015, 11:31 AM) Hi Saron owners, can i know roughly how many days after you have settled all the balace payment, you obtain your clerance letter? Once all payments is cleared, the CL is release straight away. In my case, the whole process took around 1 week=) 15/6 - received VP letter 18/6 - bank release payment 18/6 - pay misc charges RM1.2K++ 22/6 - pending stakeholder 5% 23/6 - clearance letter |

QUOTE(cclay @ Jun 26 2015, 06:57 PM) The size (1300+ sqf) is acceptable since the price is less than RM 400K. Other phases in this area is all close to RM 600K or higher. These phases have bigger build up close to 2000 psf but land size is the same (20x70) |

QUOTE(angchinyew @ Jun 29 2015, 05:37 PM) A noobie question here. Is Saron completed with CF? After getting the keys, can we move in immediately? Is there a special pass to pass the guard after we get the keys? You can. You should already get a copy of CCC (borang F) indicating completion. Electricity and water is also connected. However, I don't see anyone moving in yet.As for the guard, just say you already have the key. They will allow you to go in. |

Got few quotation from nearby shops/seller around Setia Alam/BBR. For mild steel, powder coat, simple single bar design (cheapest) the pricing is from RM11.50 to RM 12 for window. For door it is between RM 16.50 to RM18
Total cost varies depending whether you want to put grill on kitchen window and door (option A) or choose to grill the whole tiled yard area (washing machine area, option B). Option A is cheaper Estimated total area and cost for option A - Door - 106 sqf x 17 = RM1802 - Window 121 sqf x 12 = RM 1452 - Total around RM 3.5K with GST Estimated total area and cost for option B - Doors 85 sqf x 17 = RM1445 - Window 105 sqf x 12= RM1260 - Yard grill 75 sqf x 17 = RM 1275 - Total around 4.3K with GST There is also additional cost for plating (RM 80-100) and grill handle (RM 100-RM120). Please take note that these are calculated cost. Vendor may give extra discount or add extra charges. Please share if you get any other quotation (hopefully cheaper). |

QUOTE(fyruzs86 @ Jul 2 2015, 05:51 PM) Prices I show are from multiple shops. Cheapest is from a shop in Setia Alam which sell at RM11.5/RM16.50 psf. I don't know if they offer bulk discount (I didn't ask).I think it is hard to arrange for bulk buying since everyone has different budget and preference. However, if anyone here want to organize I may want to join. |

QUOTE(Archronicles @ Jul 3 2015, 09:22 AM) Bro, what kind of plating they provide? Nickel-chromium? Did not asked for that either. I'm on tight budget. Have you asked for pricing of stainless steel? I would estimate about 4-5x more compared to mild steel. Stainless steel started RM30+ (window) and RM50+ (door) range. |

QUOTE(Archronicles @ Jul 3 2015, 09:07 AM) Good morning all. For your reference. I've not checked the switches yet and have not thoroughly go through the house for waterproofing defects. All these I've compiled is what I feel as superficial/surface defects. Feel free to give some comments, would appreciate that. Great share. Some of defect you show is also seen on my unit. |

QUOTE(jeghui @ Jul 14 2015, 01:42 PM) If Saron of course less superior than Nobat in terms of quality. One is rumah mampu milik and one is for normal public. Material wise, it is on par with normal one at least from my point of view. SD does not use cheap material for bathroom fitting. There are plenty of wall socket and electrical points. If have seen normal house with cheaper material than Saron.Or are they the same quality? The defect found are mostly due to workmanship. So far I only found minor defects. Let see how SD rectify these issues. |
