I understand your point on Xiaomi and I fully agree. I m sceptical too bout their quality.

I oso understand NSF cert is on filter, not dispenser.

But if I am to get a hot water dispenser to pair with eSpring, is there any reliable one out there? I dun need cold water but I need hot water.

I honestly like the Morphy Richard above, but you are saying it is too bulky for you. Look what big brands have to offer, since design is very personal. I believe Philips used to make 1. Cause if you want really slim one, you need tankless. Sorry, couldn't help much. But have you seen the Morphy Richard in person? Cause often this color doesn't do justice to product on photos/videos.

Thanks, I've decided to probably purchase outright LG puricare latest model (WD515AN) worth RM5600 with 3 years maintenance included. This model will be available in Sen Heng starting next week as I was told.

Sadly, the model that i want (Shiny Rose) is not available for rental. Oh well.

Do drops us some feedback/review after you get hands on for it.

One more things, why not ask Senheng is the product eligible for extra warranty on their SenQ/SenHeng Warranty Day?

Hi I'm looking for recommendation for a drink direct water filtration system.
1. landed or condo? Landed
2. how many pax in your household?4
3. got senior / babies / people with disease like kidney failure for example in the house? No
4. can you able to do some small DIY installing yourself or not? (like replacement filter yourself?) No
5. how much u afford to installment per month for at least 5 years? 50/mth or 100/mth or 150/mth? 50-100
6. or do u prefer 1-time off purchase? below 1k or 2k or 3k? open to 1 time off purchase below 2k
7. do you own external water filter yet? yes
8. hot/water function is it a must for you? will you willing to fork out another RM50/mth electricity bill for the feature? or you just stick with thermal pot + fridge cold water?no need. but prefer drink direct without boiling.
I'm thinking of a system to put under sink, if the filtration system doesnt come with a tap, would like to know which brand to get for good drinking water tap.
Thanks in advanced.

Do u know what is the difference between WD512 older model and WD515 new model? Last week WD512 was 3k outright with 1 year warranty, or 4k for 3 years warranty.

Yeah, it is bad what happened. Good news though that they quickly detected it. Sometimes takes days and weeks just to detect the issue. This is when your filter comes into play, most contaminants you will not observe in your water all the time, but who knows what is coming this time and every time this happens.

Hi all I'm comparing

LG WD512AN -

3M HCD-2 -
now both same price due to merdeka promo, less than 3K now. which one is better/reliable/easy service
I very pening with so many filters, want to get something simple

If you want clean good drinking water with minimum hassle just get the eSpring, better quality with more certifications from NSF. Can drink directly similar to the above it also has block carbon with smaller microns filtering.

They're already in the 3K range, eSpring is a lot better. Change filter only 1 time per year. PM me if u are interested, we change the filter for u for free. The eSpring will beep more when it is time to change the filer and it'll have a change filter indicator.

Boiling water added into the filter creates more issues and complications with the product, it won't last as long (Any plastics coming into contact with hot water will be impacted) and may cause issues. Look at Coway http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/tech/2020/08/693_210319.html

I rather boil my water separately with an instant boiler or kettle.

I'm an avid tea drinker and I can say that boiling water with a separate device produces better tasting water. I had a zojirushi, they had some plastic parts that after a long time may potentially affect the water.

How is eSpring better than LG or 3M? Why if one wants dispenser for 3K, he should buy a simple carbon +UF for 3K+? eSpring is not a bad filter, but why use this tactic to say bad things about 3M and LG, both reputable brands, not working through MLM.... LG is an excellent package at 3K for older model for one who wants hot + cold water. 3M is time proven dispenser. If one wants just water filter, there are lots of options that will be better than eSpring in terms of value.

As a user for eSpring more than 10 years. I can say I'm a very happy user but do tag me when when eSpring come with less than RM3K and also come with Hot+Cold Dispenser. I'm pretty sure I'm the one be the first to queue up to buy.

Aren't there many dispensers that take input from filter systems like e spring?

hot they already have partner with Morphy richard brand, someone from this forum introduced me before, but I'm not going for it, due to no cold feature and it's at 3,600 all in, over my budget.

I may add another under sink filter next year, no need to get big brands, I can go with any.

cold water.. I think espring don't have partner yet

The newer WD515 model has this auto up and down dispenser that detects ur glass height and will go down towards the bottom of the glass if the glass is lower height to avoid water spillage. Apart from this fancy feature, i dont see any difference with the older WD512 model.

Not really, unfortunately. And none instant + cold that could give reasonable cold water.

If cold-hot is a must, you can probably still catch this LG for 3K, older model, before it is gone.
