Thing is, if your budget is 3K or less, you have pretty much all doors open. for 3K you can get PoE, PoU, dispenser. Or you can get one of Korean dispensers. Or you can get top of the line 3M for example. You can read this article just to get the basics (ignore any brands mentioned there if you want, it is just the basic information that is there that is more important). https://frescatec.com/pou-how-to/

Very good read especially that table. Are you the agent?

You would recommend the disruptor or eco? For PoE how and where to install if in condo? Is it after meter have to modify?

Ive decided to keep my old 3m under counter filter, but am looking for a new and fancy filter faucet to match my new kitchen (all chrome). With the 30 ringgit China ones I worry about safety of my drinking water. On the other end, Amway sells a nice one for 300+, but that's a Bit ridiculous. Any recommendations?

The first is for POU usage, such like cooking, drinking; the later is for your entire household purpose, such like washing machine, shower, cleaning dish or fruit/vege.

Hi all, i got a question.

my house currently has a media sand poe filter which i bought for cheap at about rm400...

i kind of do backwash daily as i use the water for the plants around my house.

recently, the multiportvalve is leaking, thus, am not really sure if the filter is still working properly or not...

now my question is, with daily backwash, and usage of approximately 35m3 - 40m3 a month.. should i change to a better POE filtration mode and brand? or just maintain the current one and just change the multiport valve

i found pleated filter, membrane filter, sand filter... so, not sure whether i should change or not

i live with two parents of 70+ years old, 2 adults of 30+ years old and 2 kids of less than 5 years old with frequent visits from family members as the parents are here... (no visits during mco though smile.gif)

hope some can help... i dont use any kitchen top or under counter filters.. but i do use one coway filter (which was bought on impulse and its kind of doing its job)...

edited: its okay if it doesn't have a backflow valve, I'll just put another outlet before the poe for watering the plants. smile.gif

Is anyone using LG Puricare with hot water and how often you need to change the internal tubing? Is the hot water also using the plastic tubing?

KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) such a amazing product.

• controls microorganisms.
• reduces lime scale.
• bacteriostatic.
• less heavy metal
• extend/enhance the performance of
the carbon.
• up to 6years or 60,000 gallon of filtration.

1) How true are the claims?
2) What will it cost for 2.5" × 10" cartridge?
3) Where can i purchase it?

Query on 3M AP902's maximum operation temperature. It mentioned only support max 37.8 degree. But malaysia temperature can be very hot. For instance, my house in coming water is very hot at the noon time. It is means this filter will be malfunction very fast?

No, you will be fine. Incoming water is hot for few seconds/minutes, then it gets below 40. It would be an issue for carbon, but not for sediment filter. Carbon would be deactivated fast in hot water, that is true.
