The quality of water supplied to the consumers is safe for consumption direct from the tap as the water quality is constantly monitored to ensure it is always well within the Quality Assurance Programme (QAP) and National Standard for Drinking Water Quality (NSDWQ) under the Ministry of Health and as being well within the requirements of the Mandatory Level of Service (MLS) under the Concession Agreement. However, consumers must periodically check their home internal plumbing and clean the water tank, if necessary. The presence of galvanized iron pipes in the home plumbing system and metal storage tanks normally will cause water to be yellowish/ brownish.

The more accurate method in knowing which type of filter is suitable for us is to first understand what is in our water and what can be used to remove the contaminants so that it is healthy for us to drink. However, different area will have different contamination issues and consumers will definitely would not waste $$ to labtest their water, i done mine and cost me close to RM 2k from a certified lab.

So, as we dont know what is in the water, the best is to get the BEST filter To me, my criteria minimum must be 0.2 micron for drinking water as 0.2 micron is able to filter harmful bacteria such as E.Coli. Low micron alone is not sufficient, you need to mix with high quality carbon filters as well. There are many types of carbon filters, granular, powdered, carbon block, carb fibre block and etc. Even RO with 0.0001 micron is not effective in removing contaminants such as chlorine, that is why RO filters will have carbon filters as well in the system.

You can get a basic ceramic filter that cost RM 90-100 and also direct drink from it, it wont cause any problem such as diarrhea but the small dosage of contaminants will build up over time in our body and then later will affect our health. Even SYABAS claim their water is suitable for drinking straight from the tap without water filter but how many of us dare to drink it?

I notice many salesperson push their products based on customers budget, RM 600 filter also can drink direct, RM 1000 or RM 2000 also can drink direct then why buy expensive filter and not just the cheaper one? Since this is for direct consumption and for our family health, i suggest invest a better and reliable one, many people can afford smart phones RM 2k+ definitely they can afford to get a reliable drinking water system for their family

I have used more than 6 types of water filters Even used ceramic filters before. The more we sell, the more we learn and we eventually change and change and change now i believe this is the best already

Family health is the most important thing. I believe many members also bought those gimmick or miracle water filters before and later find them useless and throw away I have many customers converted to Aquaphor and heard lots of stories. I also bought those miracle filters hoping to cure my eczema but they didnt work

As per photo, i m using two water filters + an external water dispenser now for testing, this is like my lab already hahaha

cant cure ... however the acid water from the Rubine machine reduce itchiness only.

Recently i m using this lotion + lip balm and i find it very good. If hand or leg crack just apply the lip balm, will heal within 1 - 2 days. The Lip Balm is so far the best i have used, seriously 1 day can c result as per what they claim in the website

I have customers with this situation also, they got both my table top & under sink installation kit for aquaphor. Temporary install as table top then later move in to new house only install as under sink. Table top installation can be done without hacking or drilling, just install with our hands can d, no nd any tools

We do sell 3 way mixer tap (stainless steel matt finish)

3) Filtered Water (room temperature only)

Carbon block mus change one year once but if wanna cut cost also got method geh u drop by my shop will show u how. Ask for zean bt i wont be around 25 to 28th as i will b in pwtc selling fotile but my shop is open

i have to agree the TDS testing does not reflect the true water quality, can only be used as a tester only.

Previously bought a TDS pen to test and here are the results
Aquaphor Crystal Eco averagely 60 - 70
Aquaphor RO system averagely 4 - 8
BOTTLE WATER with RO system averagely 40-50
Shop tap water without outdoor filter 70
House tap water with outdoor filter 78

My shop tap water has a little iron smell and a little yellowish but has better reading compared to my house.

In my opinion, the TDS can only be used to test RO water. If you have high readings after RO filtration, then the RO system is not working properly. RO should have reading less than 9.

If TDS readings are what you require to decide whether the filter is good for you, here is my result.


Just i think it not fair to compare TDS reading of RO vs non-ro as non RO definite cant achieve such readings but doesnt mean they are not good also. Anyway, different customers have different requirements and that is why there are so many filters in the market to suit different need

I will be in PWTC this week inconjunction with FOTILE HomeLove exhibition, so can only show u my shop's readings next week.

Good news, existing Aquaphor User can opt to add on a water dispenser now

If you get only under sink filter, it is convenient for getting water for cooking but there is no hot water

For people who need to use hot water regularly, they purchase a water dispenser but getting water for cooking would be difficult.

If you are getting an Aquaphor Under Sink Filter + Add on water dispenser, you will have both convenient of getting water for cooking and drinking. 1 Filter for two usage, isnt that a better and cheaper option?

Yes, the water dispenser has hot + cold water.

So 1 filter for 2 usage

The dispenser is without water filter, hence no maintenance cost. You need to get Aquaphor Crystal Eco as the main filter, maintenance cost for Crystal Eco is RM 450 per year.

If you know how to drill a hole on your table top, the additional water dispenser would be ez to install

For low usage, u can save on replacement cost of the cartridge but also 1 year once need to change. When u drop by, ask me to show u how to cut cost if your usage is low.

Tap Water : 80
Crystal Eco : 55

If you are looking for low TDS reading as your guide, as shown Aquaphor DWM 101 (RO filter) is able to achieve readings below 9. I believe you can make your decision now what yo buy

A good example here, my tap water reading is 80 but your filtered reading show 87. How possible my unfiltered water is cleaner than your filtered water? That is why i say TDS is not 100% accurate but can only be used as a reference

i think depending on the type of mineral as well. My Aquaphor DWM 101 also has remineralization but shows reading less than 9.


lowya : You can drop by my shop to test If u wan to test my RO, i will need to fill up at home and bring to shop.

i think TDS could be used as a guide to check on the micron filtration, if a filter company claim their filtration is 0.1 micron like mine but TDS reading shows 80pps or 90pps that means may be it is not 0.1 micron. Honestly, i tested Crystal Eco in many customer house and reading shows on average 65 pps.

However, i do believe as what oyching88 said, remineralization could affect TDS reading as well but as tested with my DWM 101 (RO system), reading still low even it has remineralization cartridge. So, depending on what is the mineral added back into the water.
