I have 2 pictures that I want to merge with to form as a .gif file using GIMP, including the animation of the two picts showing one after another in an infinite loop.

Can someone care to teach me how? smile.gif

Thanks

can try use adobe image ready?

just create new file, insert two layer, each layer for each pic. then create two frames, one for one pic, then select the duration for each frame, then export as gif (will automatically loop)

this is how i do in image ready

I don't have Image Ready, just GIMP. And I tried using your way, it doesn't work :\ I just don't know how to open another file under the same window..

u need to 'turn on' or 'turn off' unnecessary image in each of the slideshows for image ready.
