Just want to ask,

Macross is RoboTech right ? The one where the plane can transform to the robot ?

Love the cartoon btw .... and the intro the music, still can remember all these years

err.. not a macross collector myself..
but got few noob questions..

is there any macross kit there that can transform?
i mean plastic injection kit.
coz all i saw was either finished kit that transform or plastic kit that either in robot mode, or plane mode..

I notice, in most cases teh transformable version is more expensive then the "static version"

revoltech normally selling 79.9 or 89.9 (forgot which one already)

I am also putting in an order for Yamato's SV51, hope to get it soon. The 1/5000 SDF-1 from Wave should be arriving anyday now.  I'll post pics of that too.

@ sonic_cd, your yf-21 is what scale... 1/72? How does this compare in scale to the 1/60 yf19.  I ask this because I hear that Yamato is releasing another yf21 in the 1/60 scale... dunno if I should wait for this.

Bro, dis is Macross toys discussion threadlah.  Robotech.... is in d grey arealah.

But RM300 for 1 or for collection of all the fighters?  If for all 4 then grab straight away if for 1 I think its in the correct range in the after market sales.  If got the cash then buylah...  For me I'd rather concentrate on Macrosslah, add one hundred more can get Yamato VF-1...

Dunno why u are weeing in 1U!! But I got mine on ebay for RM525, dunno if can still find or not.  Then one I bot was the last one that the seller had.  By the way it has arrived but I sayang to take out of box.... wait till I get proper display cabinet.

Would really like to see then in gerwalk and battroid modes as well.... and throw in the VF0s in there too....

Yeah, the timeline of Macross Frontier is supposed to be after the events of Macross 2 and Macross 7, so the mecha will definitely be futuristic...

Yeah, the blond haired babe in the first pic is the new idol singer... Cheryl Nome...

Oh ya hor... Since Macross 2 was not produced by the original production studio, Studio Nue, they considered it as a parallel universe... I stand corrected, thanks, sonic!

Well, it's directed by Shoji Kawamori, so dun worry, he won't make the characters belt a rock tune out every bloody episode...

Oh, and according to the scanned pics, the main protagonist is not holding an electric guitar, so I guess we're safe... for now...

I am so getting this one.... But Yamato already annouve they will be issuing this long time ago.  Hopefully this new 1/60 from Yamato will be better than the previous release..... wait for some reviews and then we will know for sure.

@62jaguar... nice haul.  Take some pics of the Nora figthing with the VF0lah.... My dream is to complete the VF0A/s and SV-51 Ivanov and Nora so they can do battle in my display cabinet
