Guys, I wanted one too though I am confused by the scale and the perfect transform.
What is what?
What is the common scale for Macross? Those Yamato 1/48 or 1/60?
What is the difference between those perfect transform and those that doesn't?

Anxiously waiting for my 1/60 VF1S to arrive. XL-Shop says this month but Macross World speculation is that it has been pushed to August.

The first release of the VF0S has the disintegrating shoulders problem. The only version so far to have the fix is the version with the ghost booster.
Vf0s stand alone supposed to be reissue soon, so this version is said to be the one with all the fix.

QUOTE(nlik @ Nov 29 2008, 09:26 PM) diamond comic mid of last week, I saw them selling the bandai VF25 for RM200 .... prices now so unstable, so I'll wait. To be fair, it's not like they purposely raise the price due to demand, the problem is our very weak ringgit. Exchange rate of 3.1 a few months ago to 3.6 now. I expect the price to actually go up further and won't be dropping anytime soon unless of course Litt Takk is bringing in la. RM200 might start looking like a bargain if the price hike continues.

William, what's the status on your reissue VF0S? I might be interested if this one don't suffer from the exploding shoulers syndrome.

QUOTE(William7 @ Dec 28 2008, 08:17 PM) thw VF-0S should be free off the exploding shoulders.. wwell the new price for the re-issue VF-0S would be a whopping RM600 Glad to hear that but the price That's way more expensive than a VF1s with the strike pack. Now I got to seriously consider it. Stupid yen, really driving all prices up.

Really skipping VF25 DX in favour of the model kit version. At least the model kit looks exactly like the CG model. The DX toys look nothing like it. Initially I though Bandai can make a really great DX toy because their model kit so good but mana tau.....and the almost RM700 price tag isn't helping either.

This Macross kit is essentially a Master Grade kit despite not saying master grade.
The main component of a master grade kit is the inner frame and since the VF25 has one, it qualifies.
As for the quality of plastic, contrary to popular belief, all their Made in Japan kit are made with the same plastic quality.
The differences between grades have more to do with detail, accuracy, articulation, gimmicks, design, than the quality of the materials.
In fact, Bandai has been improving their other non master grade gundam so much that the recent Gundam 00 'non-grade' kit are so good overall that they are essentially master grade level minus the inner frame.
At one point I have more than 10++ Master Grade kit so I am indeed quite familiar with them.
