Hello everyone... I really interested about the Macross Frontier topic but I'm still new in lowyat.net smile.gif
The VF-25 1/100 is quite good actually but a bit disappointed that it need to swap out the part for transformation.
If really no budget constraint, 1/60 Chogokin will be very nice smile.gif
By the way, anyone knows to get it?

Yup, I also felt very disappointed when I found this at Google.com smile.gif
But it really good in price, I think only around RM 200++. So you plan to get it?
I've been looking for 1/72 Bandai Macross Frontier Alto Custom Kit, but most of the places are out of stock or stock hasn't arrived sad.gif
If really fail to get 1/72, I think I will directly head to Bandai Chogokin DX 1/60 Ozma Lee.
If anyone has information about Macross Frontier figures, either Chogokin or Bandai Custom Kit, please let me know... 1000x thanks!

The SMS Mothership you mean, is it Macross Quarter? Macross Quarter will be launched as well. And it will be nice because it will Chogokin version.
I'm not very sure with the Bandai custom kit will have Macross Quarter.

Only 1/100 Chogokin need to swap out the part during transformation.

I did found HLJ, but I'm not sure on how to buy it online internationally because I have no idea on the payment method, shipment and Kastam Tax as well.
Anyone has any idea on it?

Wow... Chogokin VF-25F smile.gif Impressive.
But I still prefer Ozma with full armour.
Actually I wonder the Bandai 1/72 Custom Kit's quality is good?

Wow... Future80, got your Ozma already. So great to hear that smile.gif
How's the quality? Have you started to assemble already? Regarding the sticker, it really water base? Then I think it would be easier to apply smile.gif
You are from Penang is it?

DX is actually another version for Macross Frontier VF-25. It's not like Bandai Custom Kit. DX is Chogokin version which is fixed model or toy smile.gif
For Bandai Custom Kit you bought... it's 1/72 scale
But for Chogokin DX... it's 1/60 size and it has metal part on it, especially for it's joint.

DX looks more like toys  doh.gif  I perfer more realistic like 1/72 scale.

Ya... agree that Chogokin DX 1/60 VF-25F / S looks more like toys. In fact, they are really toys.
I'm assembling 1/72 VF-25F Alto now. Can't deny that it's scalle looks better but still... it's model kit and it's more fragile than this Chogokin DX which comes with metal part on it.
I think Bandai Chogokin did great for Macross Frontier as well (if we ignore the scale problem).

hmm.. overall, i prefer the model very superb in term of the transformation system( even though plane --> gerwalk quite simple)

drawback:

lack of pose from chest to lower body. sticker; man it is so frustrating.. all the small sticker so hard to apply to the model.

how 'bout the dx? any comment?
*
I'm very agree with you as I just finished assembling my VF-25F kit last weekend. It tooks me 2 weeks to finish it.
The sticker really frustrating... some of them very tiny... some of them easy to break... some of them can't even fit the shape nicely, the worst is, after few days i stick on it, it becomes loosen sad.gif

Here are mine... just to share with you all smile.gif

hmm quite nice but one thing some of you guys must learn that model kits wasn't a toy that can play with often and need some patience apply those decal or stick btw  both of my kits (alto and ozuma) still stay in the box but i think i'll start this kits tmr and see how it goes within my preview.
*
Yup... model kits really not for play but more on display. Macross Frontier kits really fragile. But what I like about the kit for Macross Frontier is it's scale accuracy compare with DX (although I don't have DX version). At least custom kit Ozma has neck but Chogokin Ozma doesn't... haha.
So bad that kit version for Bandai doesn't comes with any Grade on it. If it's MG series like Gundam, I guess it's plastic quality n joint will be better. This is what I think because I owned two MG series of Gundam smile.gif
Anyhow... overall, this Bandai Kit is quite good. I am hoping that I can own an DX version as well, but will see how in the short coming future. Maybe I will aim for DX Ozma (although it has no neck smile.gif) because I'm putting high hope on Ozma full armor rclxms.gif

nice job artakus01 and khaiboon  rclxms.gif. may i knw what type of sticker you used? was it water decal? for my kit, i still havnt apply any yet. if let say if i use water decal. after sticked and it dried up, can i still put water on top and slowly peel it off to adjust/re-apply again? i must admit that model kit 1/72 is very very fragile. i have tried posing him on gerwalk, but the knee joints seem not strong enough to support the upper body. i think is better get a stand.
*
I dare not try to put water decal on it. Since I'm not expert in kits yet. Normal sticker gives very good decal as well... just that it will fall off.
Fragile... my Alto's head will fall off when transforming to Battroid mode as well smile.gif But not a big deal for it.
