I think it will keep breaking the hinges unless they improve it. You should insist HLJ give you free parts all the way, or ask for a REFUND including ship/return postages since they sold you a defect item.

I'm sure like the Garland Yamato will come up with better hinges, but I though all Yamato Macross shares the same type of hinge, and they've been selling it for many years now...

BTW got my Garland replacement part and also 1/4 of the body, so if i can get the rest of the 3/4 body i get a new Garland!!!

Anyone got the Megahouse Yellow? Is RM180 worth it?

I'm gonna open Megahouse either Stick or Ray this evening. Been sitting there for over a month.

Just opened up the Ray Megahouse Mospeada. The paint job seems nice with flat surface, however really a pain when it comes to transforming. Everything just fall off.

I have problem pushing the engine back into the armor, it only goes 3/4 ways so the figure can't fit in. I had to remove the whole engine to make it fit. Anyone had the same problem?

The legs & waist joint are quite loose, the weight concentrating on the back just make it really difficult to stand without supports.

Overall I agree it's good for display, but definately not suitable for playing, everything just fall off... especially the visor.

Also did anyone of you guys visor come with the target like in the boxart?

Actually I found a video demo by CollectionDX on how to transform the Cyclones, apparently you cannot have the seat totally up as it would block the engine from going in. Engine needs to go in 1st before you lock the seat.

Some people buy 3, 1 to display for each transformation.

So if got like transformers can transform 6 modes then need to buy 6.


Anyway most of you guys display your only valkyrie in what form?

Have you seen their Votoms 1/12 scale action figures? The articulation is better than Micro Man and looks better than Revoltech.

Also the Votoms 1/12 Robots, Megazone Garland they are pretty nice. The Yamato GN-U are supert but the robots are less popular and super pricey. One thing for sure Yamato stuff tend to snap more easily than Bandai etc.

What do you guys think putting the 2 lady cyclones beside the Megahouse Stick & Ray?

Will they look good?
