@strikeout, got too much time on your hands..... btw, that raven quite nice

@desert punk, the VF-1J Hikaru was introduced after the all the DYRL VF1s.  So by that time, they had ironed out most of the quality problem.  The first production release of the VF1J Hikaru was at the end of 2003 and in this initial release they had some issues around the airbrakes which were found to be loose.  This has subsequently been solved in the newer releases.  Its a good time to buy now as Yamato is issuing the VF1J with Armor parts.  Priced at 19800Y, is much cheaper than getting the standardVF1J and a seperate armor pack.  PM me if you need more information.

WOOT!Thanks for the info.Oh!and one more thing,is the super part version also rid of all the issues you've mentioned?(loose airbrake, and i've also heard there are minor issues with the fastpack not grabbing the gun in fighter mode nearly as well as the fastpacks that are sold separately?)

The price for the VF1j + armor is definitely a steal, but unfortunately i'm not really a big fan of the gbp armor so i'll "probably" skip this release. But thanks for the heads up anyway... notworthy.gif
