AVI is just a container, not really a file format by itself. It can contain different kind of codec (use G-spot to determine what kind of codec it is)
Codecs can be found here http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=282412 as SanosukeSagara said, if you get K-lite mega codec pack, the success rate of being able to play the file is very high |
