Go Bursa official website...

At least learn about trading procedure, trading costs, the basic technical terms...

Start with well-known names, those companies whose products u know about.

Nothing teach u better than actually experiencing the market ups and downs and actually losing/gaining money

Chinese have a saying, if the needle didn't poke u, u won't experience pain/learn. Virtual trading with fake money? Nah yawn.gif

That's how I started.

Huh?
You know Star Wars?
Luke's sifu?
Mati right...
Kung fu movies....
All the sifu do what?
Mati katak, yes? tongue.gif

Let others be the siput laaaaaaaa......

Thing about losses....

Some can afford big losses...
But some...cannot manage their losses...
Until they need to borrow....
and in extreme cases....
one might end up with a lifetime of debts....

And how does one handle losses?
Some curse.....everything....
but after a few beers for the night.....
they forget all about the losses in the morning....

Some.....go into deep depression from the losses they suffer...
and so on......

End story?
Isn't it better to avoid silly stuff like losses while learning?
Why pay to lose when you can avoid it?

Btw quick question, is this normal to have the no of shares info being blocked in the platform news/announcement section? I am using maybank & I don't understand why they need to block/not display the no of shares info or is there a way to enable it?  rclxub.gif

the danger is anchoring your reasoning based on how high the stock has traded recently..... sweat.gif

user posted image

yes, on a short, short term basis, I am sure some traders would FEEL that 15 sen is a support for the stock and that the stock could be due for a rebound.....

it's not unreasonable thinking....

however... from my point of view....

when I look at the current stock decline...
it's like CHINESE WATER TORTURE....
cos there was no sharp decline....
but instead constant droppings....
such stock declines....
tend to create a scenario where there's plenty of stale bulls left holding on to the stock....
hence any brief rebound could be countered by selling.....

my poison la....
you don't have to agree.... tongue.gif

and if you extend to the larger frame....

user posted image

in my opinion...
THE support for the stock was 18/19 sen region....
that's where the stock out from before it began it's fantastic up movement in April...
as much...
when I consider where Frontken is trading right now....
I won't be comfortable trading it....

however....
please remember...
I am just saying "I won't be comfortable trading it..."
and I am not saying no chance.... tongue.gif
cos in stock market anything can happen...
especially with goreng stocks...

again...
just my poison...... icon_rolleyes.gif

Eerrr dunno...I only know got fundamental, blue chip for dividend, Penny stock for small company
*
...... you see playing stocks is .... errr.... like F1 racing..... tongue.gif

just imagine....
you are in the game ....
where you are to make money betting/investing ..... in F1 races....
where the cars represent stocks....
car owners represent stock/company owners...
races represents trading days...
F1 drivers represents CEOs.....
etc etc....

so think for a moment....
how to bet on the race winner?
or the race team winners?

for betting race winner....
simply buta hantam a car.... cannot win one, right?
it becomes a game of chance... ye?

so what do you think you need to know?
the car....
the car current form...
the driver...
etc etc ....
yes? (this is why knowing fundamentals is important even when you trade)

and then you need to know the race condition (ie market condition).....
what is race condition?
the weather....
is it brutally hot weather?
is it a rain soaked track?
etc etc....

and this is where it's important...
cos the car with the best engine (ie fastest car) might not win.....
it all boils down to the car ability to handle in the wet...
and of course... the driver is just as important...

and this is where it's the same in trading....
you need to know the market condition...
ie... what kind of market you are trading in.....
before you adjust your trading strategy to adept to the market important....
this is important...
and it takes years to understand this.....

anyway....
as before...
this is just my poison laaaa....
you don't need to agree with me.... tongue.gif
