Start with well-known names, those companies whose products u know about.

Nothing teach u better than actually experiencing the market ups and downs and actually losing/gaining money

Buy quality, buy with conviction

Don't diversify for the sake of diversification if say, u can only find 1-2 good stocks. Just buy that 1-2.

In the same manner, if u found 4-5 or even 9-10 good stocks that ticks all your required criteria, why not buy all?
