QUOTE(gark @ Sep 30 2015, 05:00 PM) Net Interest Margin.. The profit bank makes loan interest minus interest they have to pay depositors. CC interest in Indonesia is ~35% p.a. House loan is about ~12% p.a. Corporate loan is about ~11% p.a. and... Micro credit loans (PA etc) is about ~40% p.a. thanks bro for the explanation!!! really appreicate it!!!

New trend... new trend... CPO price is currently very bullish (Spot price Up 10% to RM 2250 in 1 month, Futures up 20% to RM 2450 in 1 month) due to the sharp devaluation of RM. CPO is traditionally traded in RM while its competitor Soybean Oil is traded in USD. The price of CPO in early September is trading at RM 2,000, August it was around RM 1,900. Due to lower RM/USD exchange rate the gap between soybean oil and CPO in USD terms has widen very considerably from its norm of $70-$100 per ton to current $180 per ton. IF CPO will close that GAP means the fair price of CPO will be ~ RM 2900 per ton which is another 20% upwards gain. Break even price for most CPO manufacturers is in the range of RM 1,400 - 1,800 per ton, a dramatic price increase will raise their net margin considerably and earning at multiple of 4x-6x. So now palm oil companies can also be considered as USD plays.. See the charts below.. http://www.mpoc.org.my/Daily_Palm_Oil_Prices.aspxThis post has been edited by gark: Sep 30 2015, 05:36 PM
