Is the M3 more powerful & quieter than M2 in city drive in term the acceleration?
I felt that the M2 is faster off the grid in terms of acceleration than the M3. Probably due to a lighter body. It's much more nimble and agile. I took it down some windy roads and it went where I pointed the steering with no body roll, which was very impressive. Pity the steering is too light and didn't weigh up with added steering lock. Otherwise, I would have bought the car right there.
The M3 is definitely more powerful and quieter and when properly revved, the acceleration is more constant. I feel that it handles corners in a similarly planted way like the M2 but feels much more mature and the steering weight is better. If the Mazdaspeed 3 comes out, I would seriously consider it!
So yes, I agree with Amras of Nargothrond, they are both very different cars.
@Berrylicious, if there's a burnt smell, it could be burnt rubber. You drive like Vin Diesel izzit?
