Came across this site on Mazda 3 Infotainment Project. Seems like an informative site for those whom are interested to explore on MZD Connect.
Infotainment Project

For those whom are interested to play a video via USB (no mods required), they have an initiative on this as well. Personally, have tested on my ride (CKD) and it works biggrin.gif However, don't expect for a full fledged video player functionalities.

If you're referring to the video player, the video player folder can be downloaded by clicking on the 'Download ZIP' button located at the bottom right of this link Tweaks

A more detail explanation can be found under section VII Video Script of the Index located at Index of Infotainment Project

Hope this helps.

I understand that manufacturers consider playing video on screen as a dangeros distraction while the car is moving.

my question to PorcupineZ  and to u, is why the heck would u play videos on a screen which does not even have 720 resolution, let alone fhd or qhd? maybe u guys are tech luddites who are still using Samsung s3 or iPhone 4.

Hi guys, proud to be a new Mazda 3 owner.  Got my white M3 2weeks ago.  Been loving the car since I got it! Got mine from Rawang, Kluster Motors.  Waited for a good 2 months plus before I got it.  Got a 1k discount with tinting rm500.

Few questions :

1) does the iStop function effect the engines long term condition?

2) how often do we need to upgrade the navigation and infotainment?

3) where to get bodykits and accessories for this car? I was told by my Mazda service centre that there's a Mazda accessories shop in PJ.

4) anyone tried the android app yet mentioned above?

5) where do J get the upgrade for auto lock n auto fold in for side mirror?

Thx for the info in advance....

Thanks for your photos.

The plug (that connects to the fuse box) can we buy off the shelf?
