Came across this site on Mazda 3 Infotainment Project. Seems like an informative site for those whom are interested to explore on MZD Connect.
Infotainment Project For those whom are interested to play a video via USB (no mods required), they have an initiative on this as well. Personally, have tested on my ride (CKD) and it works  However, don't expect for a full fledged video player functionalities.Play Video via USB |
