Just got my M3 hatch with the leather seats on Thursday :

I sent it for tinting on Friday and this is what the tint shop did to it :

F-ckers poured thinner on the back window panel and left it there for 2 hours until it dissolved the plastic. Car has to go back to Mazda for repairs next week. Mind you this shitty workmanship was done by the authorized installer for an extremely well known tint brand.

Update:

Extremely impressed with Izwan and team at Bermaz, Jalan 219. 2 working days delivery time for replacement parts, 20 minutes to repair the panels and no appointments required. Car is as good as new again. Absolutely no regrets switching from my previous 2007 Volvo S80 2.5T to the M3 hatchback.

I had that idle vibration when my car was new, it's gone now after 5000km. I think it's to do with the engine mounting being abit stiff while it's new. Once your car ages abit the vibration is no longer noticable, at least for me.

As for your tyres, 30 psi is way too low. The recommended psi for 16" is 36. Of course your steering feels heavy because you're under inflated.

The shaking at high speed is probably due to bad balancing and alignment. Mine wasn't perfect either, I brought mine to an alignment sifu and now the car is straight like a bullet and no shaking all the way to 200kph.
*
Thanks bro, 32 is default setting given by Mazda. My car just done 1000 km 1st service. Can't imaging the balancing got problem. That day I sent my m3 to HQ, they told every good, no problem v alignment n balance, just my tyre pressure was too high (given by them also @@)...so change from 32>30... I make it 31 now, steering lighter but tyre running feel harder.
For new car shaking problem, hopefully so...

This is definitely not normal. I can't even feel any vibration in my car when idling. Car is also very smooth when driven at 100-140 km/h. When cornering or parking the steering should be light. I'm driving a Mazda 3 GL myself. The tyre pressure should be 36 - 40 psi depending on your passenger load (see label on driver door edge) but I don't think tyre pressure is your problem.  You definitely need to pursue this with the SC until solved.

That's minor vibration coming from engine... Maybe u try to touch your dashboard or steering or rear seat, any minor vibration?
36.... HQ said 32 consider too high..I confused now @@

and also golf gte a.k.a golf hybrid? can go to do some research bos

He's talking about VGM still trying to get rid of their 2014 stocks; it's not about VW coming out with new models. Those 2014 stock have been parked in the sun and rain for a year so good luck to those who buy them.

If you are talking about very minor vibration from the engine which you have to use your hand to feel then I can't comment further. I've not noticed vibration when holding my steering when idling but different people may have different sensitivity.

A difference of 1-2 psi pressure should not be noticeable to the driver and I wonder why Bermaz is making a big deal out of it. I think you should follow the label given on the car door and not some service tech's advice.

New car paint is not supposed to be polished so soon nor is it necessary. Just buy some carnauba wax and wax yourself. Why need to go to a shop?

I coated my car from the 2nd day after I got it.. Now the coating already 1month plus but the water repel still excellent and so far didn't see any tar stick at the side of my car (around tyre area).. very easy to maintain.. just spray clean water and wipe with 3M microfibre cloth.. No car shampoo needed brows.gif

Here's the coated effect, super high gloss very watery effect:-

After coated, the shop gives 5 years warranty with free 4 times maintenance (re-coat the whole car).

Go back the shop for car wash and vacuum in within 5 years are FOC.

The sales person advise me to go back for maintenance every 6 months if didn't really take care of the car much.. If ownself very caring can go back for maintenance once a year.

After 4 FOC maintenance finished, go back to re-coat they charge RM200 which I find it's quite reasonable as the price is slightly cheaper or same with waxing / polish..
