I experience once wif MZD restart itself while driving

Both issues faced before. I've also experienced the following:
- MZD screen completely down. Needed a reset to fix it.
- MZD restarted midway through a call.
- USB music went back to track #1 when starting the car (usually happens after 5-10 starts).

I think it's a software issue. Mine's still on the original V27 when I got my car in 2014.

My MX-5 running V56 or whatever's newest never had any of these problems.

Issue resolve after reset the MZD by pressing mute+GPS+Back button.

2. For anyone who isn't aware how to check what version you have on your vehicle:
1) From the home screen, go to the right and select settings.
2) Go all the way to the right and select "System"
3) Scroll to the bottom and select "About" and then "Version Info"

Seem that MZD is not stable. What is latest version & can service center help to download ?

i used llumar Crystal 6..so far so good...
but some may feel it is hot since it is not VERY dark

rim wont void warranty. Don't worry.
If your budget allow, just get high spec.

I am using 3M Crystalline 70 for front & back, and Safety tint Nano 70S for all 4 side windows. It interferes with Smart Tag, no doubt. So I asked the supplier to cut a hole next to the sensor unit where original Mazda already have dotted tint and stick my Smart Tag there.

**Note: The photo below is left-side driver. For us, the dotted tint is located at the driver side, which is the right side.

One thing I regret is not getting darker tints. Not so much for the heat as the heat reduction is awesome. Just the glaring part I cannot tahan. Thinking to get a second layer now to make it darker.

Can u show us ur cars photo of the cut hole ? Sorry this is my first time hearing ppl cut hole for the smart tag I can't imagine how it looks like ... So it only interfere with smart tag la ? GPS ok ?
Btw how come they still interfere one , tot in 3M website , they stated non metal based , won't interfere with GPS and tag . Can I claim warranty or even more extreme, a refund if I can't get what they promised ?

Another questions is ... Let's say the tint is good for smart tag , so u guys stick the smart tag on the windscreen ? The sticker won't damage the tint ?

Better don't put your smart tag on the windscreen. This is Malaysia, look around do you see anybody sticking their smart tags on the windscreen? You may as well stick a RM100 note on your windscreen and hope for the best.

No I never ... I only take them out when I need it ...but do u guys stick the holder on the windscreen ?

my sis car using vkool, stick on wind screen since day 1 without problem. I mean the glue no fall out or anything.

If it happened that someone with itchy hand slammed the smart tag , will the sticker pull the tint film out as well ? Haha

Will post the photo later tonight or tomorrow. I never experience problem with the GPS so far *touchwood*.

I didn't read until that part about the interference claim or refund. I just knew from installation day that it will interfere and true enough, I tried after installation, Smart Tag cannot use.

I stick the holder at that part and only take out my Smart Tag if my trip requires to pass a few tolls. I guess if you don't forcefully remove the holder it will not damage the tint in any way.

3M website stated no interference to satellite signal ... Didn't mention about smart tag because only our country uses smart tag

I just need to know which tint model to go for .... So many choices until blur ady

my mazda 3 head and rear light will fog up when raining day for 3months.

Today finally I get the answer from BERMAS.

They not allow to claim warranty as this is "natural phenomena" and is happening to some of the Japanese car also..

Smart tag uses infrared to communicate. 3M Crystalline has very good IR rejection.
When I put on my 3M tints in 2011, I was hoping for smart tag to switch to RFID to eliminate the interference. Until today, still waiting

I once used cello tape to hold my road tax to the windscreen (it was peeling at the edges).
When I tried to remove it to slap on a new road tax, the adhesive peeled out the tint with it as well.
So I guess it is likely that the sticker will pull the tint film out as well.
