Yeah I noticed most people who didn't like it are fans. Or people who are at least familiar with the first three movies. I can understand.

But if you take it as just another action/sci-fi movie then its a great watch. Though you do need to have a bit of knowledge of the previous films to be able to understand some parts.

T4 is better than T3...
and i enjoy Terminator movie...

same here. i pay my respect to the terminator franchise by watching T4, not T3. t3's full of jokes and humor and should not be seen in near times cause it made the terminator looked lame and dumb. T4? phew, one of the most dead serious film in 09' i can tell. although it utilize a bad edit and does not have characteristic background, but i still loved it and definitely will watch it for the 3rd time.

what's the most important thing? a good replacement for T3. that's all. majority of t-fans were pissed because of that hillarious film. it made arnold looked dumb, it made the tx look beauty and dumb at the same time.

well i watched it yesterday night and i gotto say that i love the action sequences...

its really engaging and all the actions made me sit tight on my seat....

well as i'm not a fanboy... so i dunno whether the storyline was badly written or editted.... so i won't care less....

however they are few things that i kinda blur here... will ask when i reach office later.... now go prepare to go work first

I am a fanboy of Terminator franchise and I like ALL the Terminator movie be it T1, T2, T3, and T4.

T3 may have gotten goofy at times but there was always tension, not something that can be said about this drab overly serious installment.

At least T4 is wayyyy better than T3, T3 is rubbish.

T4 could have more potential just that McG screwed it up.

I'm sure McG no way have the chance to direct any of the terminator movie in his life anymore.

McG should go back and direct MTV or retire forever.

Highlights (for me at least)

- John Connor is Batman/Batman is John Connor
- The machines are cool
- They still use Huey helicopters to fight the machines in 2018!
- 10 seconds of Alice in Chains' Rooster and GnR's You Could Be Mine
- Kyle Reese is Pavel Chekov from Star Trek
- Token women sidekick not too bad looking
- CGI Arnie as T800
- "I'll be back"

that is because, in an alternate universe,
the resistance were successful in going back in time to stop skynet from ever becoming reality. and in this world, sarah connor married a man called wayne and their son is called bruce. since he's not a basturd, he carries the name bruce wayne

i read that article, i think the original ending or project angel is even more crap.

Please dun say that.Without T3 there will be no T4.I agreed that T3 is the worst of all Terminator movies(including Arnold look dumb) but it still act as a continuations point for the next teminator movie.If they never make T3 so T4 movie will never out.Same as Kyle Reese need to go back in time probaly borrowing Dr Emmet Brown's Delorean(Back To the Future) to fcuk Sarah or John Connor will never exists.

But probaly they choose a wrong director or scriptwriter to direct T3 movie

No lah...dun be like thatlah....thats why they take the humans alive....so they can toreh getah for them....so previously, human were using Machines as slaves, now its payback time. Since animals have limited intelligence, robots are different. So there is a power struggle there.

Resistance Weapon After Judgement Day


- Fairchild-Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II

- Bell UH-1H (Huey II)

T4 did have some scenes that makes me say, 'hey isn't that from T...'. The half cut T600 reminds me of T1, the bike that marcus rode reminds me of T2, and also the part where marcus got hit on the chest with that big batu-bata from the T800.

Really outdated but seems OK by me...they could use a F-35 instead of a Warthog, but the missiles are costly and not readily available after J-day. The 25mm machine gun might not be as efficient as the A10 30mm gun.
Attack Copter also could be used, but even this will be easy pickings for the Terminator HK....since the resistance have limited resources,....so I'll go for the A10....even if its the year 2018....more realistic cos I doubt high tech Planes and Copter are available.

Man...I must be really sleeping during the Marcus riding a bike....which part was that?...I think I better rewatch T4.

If you are looking for the steamy sex scenes...hoho...its not in there..but some picture...err...you better check it out yourselves.
It also shows the prison break...so its not actually a walk in the park

I think should wait for the Directors/Extended Cut version on Bluray...should be more complete story.
