Go blame, Halcyon, the producers for making TS a family-friendly rating movie PG-13. Previous movies T1,T2,T3 was rated R.

Hah! this happen when people did not watch T1. Like my gf just now, after movie she asked me again. Who is Kyle Reese to John. I said father. She was like wtf

Lets make it clear.Cyberdyne is a company which developed a system named Skynet. In 2003, Cyberdyne did not know about the future and Skynet betrayed them. So from there they built Marcus to lure John and Kyle?

already watch this today @ mines (1.30pm)... any1 watch @ mines too?

I was about to watch this at gsc in kuantan for 2.30pm showing, but got blackout there instead, really farked up my mood to see this movie

seems like not many ppl like the movie.. but i think this movie is great.. Tough it is noticeable that there are certain rip off from transformer.. But hey, They copied it nicely....

I'm a terminator fan, watched all the movies and TV series (sarah).

It was hard for me to open my eyes at the beginning stage (after the heli crash)...blame it on watching too much terminator stuff previous night. Mid way, story picked up and end of it....nothing to shout abt. (except for the action scenes which was very good...up to todays standards).
-Tense and suspense scenes were missing...it was never like T1 where you are sitting edge of the seat, maybe there was too much of it in T4 or not executed well by the director.
-Void of humor (yes, it does matter even with a Terminator movie, T2 was great, even T3 had some humor). Now I can understand why some critics mention it.
-Infiltration to skynet was way too easy...I was thinking of nothing less than ninja skills or superman to break into skynet alone, even with Marcus help.
-Another problem is it started and ended in 2018......even in 2029, humans were having a hard time with skynet...so 2018 is just a passing year...so when are we humans gonna win the war....T5, T6 or T7?

End of the day, after rewinding back T1,2 and 3...plus all of that sarah chronicles, come to my senses abt the whole Terminator Story and the fall of it in T4...hope they wont mess it up in T5.

I personally give it a 6/10! sorry fanz....6 because the action was good, and they didn't forget Arnie....or else its a 4/10.
I would have given an 8 if it was not rated U, with more F words, more gore, more epic battle, more hope of the survival of mankind, and i wanna clap my hands or cry in the end of the show....sadly all this was missing.

I like the cam view where it potrayed the heli crashing down only to be known that it was nuclear blast that caused it, kinda remind me of cloverfield.

Did you sleep half way through your movie? Marcus wright against t600, harvester, mototerminator, marcus making an escape from the resistance, john and marcus against t-800? There was a hell lot of intense moment, heck the movie is 80% action packed

Why do you need humor, t3 had to much humour in it that it became really cheesy and corny, terminator movies are suppose to be dark, t2 had just the perfect balance only because it was part of the storyline of john getting to know the terminator well, if you want some laughter go ahead and jump in some shea la bouf movies.

How about the fall of it after the 1st terminator? Afterall the time displacement machine was destroyed after kyle and the t-800 went in, so how did they make another time travel machine?

Sam Worthington was the main actor. The movie started with him and ended with him giving his heart to Connor. Worthington had more screen time than Christian Bale.

it wasnt a movie that i will queue at 6am to get a ticket for but quite entertaining for RM7

It kinda mocked the judiciary system actually. The judiciary to put death by way of lethal injection a man who willingly and put many others before him before sacrifying himself. You do not put this kind of people to death.

I was rather dissappointed with the directing actually. I swear I heard Sam Worthington's Australian accent in one of the scenes. If i were the director, i would have reshoot that scene!.

Mat Rempits will be thrilled with the Motornator (or what ever they called it)

Arnold Swazenbach the shoe brand was disguisting ! Was a bad idea to include him even though for just for 5mins.

Marcus' heart was pearced by Arnold. Marcus needed the machine to heal his skin. How come, his heart was good enuf for Connor at the end of the movie? The healing machine was destroyed in the nuclear blasts.

problems i found in the film:
1.THe robot Just cant seem to choke john. like seriously, grab and toss, grab and toss. THey can just snap john's neck in a second but they always throw them. and by the time the Terminator chokes john's neck, somebody comes to the rescue. haizzz.

2. SKYnet CENTRAL. DUDE, WHERE ARE THE ROBOTS?? HELO ITS SKYNET CENTRAL WE ARE TALKING HERE! firstly, i will let pass the idea of john sneaking in and bypassing the robots, but How can all the prisoner escape. eventhou marcus wright deactivated the security, the T-600 are still roaming around. but hundreds of prisoner ran out of skynet central without meeting any robots. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

3. Why isnt john a leader yet? oh well, maybe he is still young.

4. nothing much to complain, love this show

Um, well I did watch it today (Launch day Ftw), yup, it's, how should I say it, disappointing i guess.
Of all terminator series, I think the 2nd one are the best. This salvation might got those soooo intense moments, great CGI, top-notch sound effect, but I find it lacking storyline.

Well, I really got a problem trying to understand what his mom tried to say at the beginning, who?what?. I did watch the first and second movie when I was a kid, the 3rd, yeah, I did watched it but the problem is I never did finished watching it. How the fish would I understand what his mother was saying?!
I ended up thinking a lot, which is annoying when watching a movie. Christian Bale " I'll be back".. yup..

great CGI? i gotta agree that the robots and skynet planes were awesome.
But the resistance(human)'s plane and helicopter's cgi suck.
it was terrible.
During the ending when u see the helicopter, it was tottally fake.
LOL, the mother said that he would be leader in the future, but didnt specify when.
Somemore he didnt get any good position also.

haiz, at least the command center is blown up, time to replace it with john like in the Sarah connor chronicles
