star trek = 5stars out of 10...

james cameron old oredi ...and you know his style in directing la he alwiz used huge budget in all his film...

ok. majority of hardcore t-fans loved the film and gave the film 7 or 8/10. they praised for making a new start for the war, but they didn't like the editing, the sound, the character much.

but so far, this film pwnes T3 (which ALL OF T-FANS HATED IT). so that's a great one on my book. but on rottentomatoes rated at 33%? that was, ridiculous. they was expecting more of those jokes from T3 (u kiddin' me?). why they didn't understand? do we need jokes and humor in a war situations?

why? star trek not that good? you're lucky because it was a reboot film. rather than T4, it was a prequel and a sequel combined. as for the waiting, I CAN'T WAIT!!! 28th, please move faster!

I'm getting ready for this, since this is a prequel and a sequel combined, which Terminator movie should i watch again to fully appreciate T4?
T1 and T2? or T2 and T3? or hopefully not T1,2,3?...sighs

I think the 27th night tickets are open for booking now....I'm waiting for the 28th one since oledi take leave.

THen again, if Star Trek is showing, might as well watch both...

You really are on a crusade against the critics arent you? What happens if you agree with them when you have actually seen it?

And no, not every Terminator fan hates T3. It was skimpy on plot and development (apart from the last act), and good in its action... which is all I'm hearing about the new movie too. I'll be pleased if Salvation is on par with T3. At least that movie has Arnold in it, and any Terminator fan who's worth his salt knows Arnold embodies the very Terminator spirit! And hardcore fans definitely do not download camrips of their beloved franchise.

Also, T2 probably had as much humour as T3.

But this is different. Adult John Connor should never EVER utter lines like 'No problemo' (if true) and I just finished the video game on the PS3, if the dialogue is anything like the game, the scriptwriter needs to get shot.

yes, not all t-fans hated that T3. i liked it also
i think T2's humor was balanced with it's action element (T3's waaayy stupid ones, it makes the T-X and t-850 looks super dumb).
plus, maybe im way to overreact on the critic, so i better zipped my mouth out till it's released

32% on Rotten Tomatoes ? I heard someone say its better than Star Trek ? Lol... that probably is something thinking Star Trek "can't be the best movie of the year" (yet).

I could have taken much shorter were it not for the bugs encountered. I had to start the hardest level (Act 7) three times because of 'hang' and numerous other little bugs where a spider is stuck in the wall and you can't go to the next section without killing ALL robots

Rotten Tomatoes is not a site for be-all-end-all when it comes to movie reviews, I don't trust them anymore.

RT was stump on that film. maybe they expect TS to perform more of it. but they forgot one thing= TS is not a reboot

Its not be-all-end-all, but it is generally indicative of the movie's quality though. More often than not an 80% movie will be much better than a 30% movie.

Its very upsetting to see film critics who has already set their benchmark, if its not as par as the earlier ones then its complete utter fail, to have morons like ebert who thinks citizen kane or the godfather is better then the rest of the movie nowadays tells you that how much of a pompous ass moron elitist jerk that he and the others are and anyone who agrees with them are no better because they dont have a stand and that they want to join in the bandwagon so that their cool and know it all like the rest of them.

Ebert is a populist. He's one the last critics you can call an elitist.

watched it, the CGI is awesome, story line so so...typical summer blockbuster
