even in the trailers, JC did say "This is not the future my mother warned me about. Something has changed."
in past terminator series; Judgment Day did not occur as originally predicted (did not occur in 1997 as the movie timeline)

May I ask in this T4, is it like T1, T2 or T3 tat a terminator will protect John Connor kind of similar story? Otherwise, i feel it will like a boring movie.

I don't recall any terminator saving anyone in T1!
T1 is still my no.1 for the terminator series even thou the rest we much, much better in the CGI

I hope T4 lives up to its hype...cos' I'll be spending money on the tickets....from the early ratings, looks like it didn't suck...which is good as the previous ones were getting really bad.
I really hope they don't intro more new Terminator models but instead built 'characters' with the existing ones. Yes, I expect lotsa action, but storyline is also important.

I think Arnie got paid too for lending his 'face' to them, and they also saved a few million bucks in cheques to Arnie...so its a win - win situation.
After all, Arnie got less time to do stuff like this in his political career.

sams involvement was personal recomendation from james cameron. (sam is in james camerons biggie "AVATAR")

Base on the concept arts, Marcus's endoskeleton is different from the rest

The artwork compared the T600 which is uber huge, T700, Marcus and then the T800

the t800 in the T# is the one that killed john in future and kate caught it and reuse it to protect john in the past...

it was a war film. what boring? you wan see arnold's perut boroi again? this is a new start. sure people would wanna see this film

i'm not surprised at all. now at 25%, a film directed by McG, not JJ Abrams or cameron. we'll see.
but between the positive and negative sides, it was now 50-50. other people said they loved it much, other say it sucks to the ground.

but im here to advise you, be4 u watch this film, you better watch the previous films (and novels if necessary) because majority of the reviewers are not so keen with the terminator story. they came to the cinema and expecting a protector-to-a-boy film. that's why the negativity sides is super stupid on their statements
