Lets show Maybank something by cancelling the credit card together from August onwards.
There are lots of cash back cards available out there although they have their own specific T&C.
Perhaps Maybank or AMex will launch a new cashback scheme when they see their cardholders dropped a lot.
There is totally no reason to use AMex in M'sia without the 5% cashback when Visa & Mastercard is a lot more commonly accepted compared to AMex.
I will be calling them to cancel the card IMMEDIATELY once i got my statement on 5th August.
No point using anymore.

I gt existing MBB 2 cards.
Apply for ikhwan and get rejected mayb due to the credit limit issue.
Since there is no point keeping 2 cards.
I sign the conversion form to convert my 2 cards into ikhwan via email.
Accepted almost immediately.
Now am using the ikhwan already.
NO POINT to use the AMEX at all.
Do note that quite a lot of dining outlet eg. Johnny's restaurant as i encounter refuse to accept AMEX mayb due to higher charges.
