Have anyone tried upgrading M2C Amex gold to platinum via credit card center?
Can get it within a same working day? Or is it advisable to just call CS and apply through this method? fruitie i remember you upgraded yours right? |

back to the main point which is 'know you spending pattern' and then choose the credit cards that can maximise cash rebates from your necessary spending.

Now redemption is only a little more than 1% equivalent. (Based on RM50 voucher redemption.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 25 2015, 04:08 PM) most m2c users are maximizing the 5% amex cashback (rm50 cap), the 5X unlimited TPs are just by-the-way bonus You are definitely right.Weekend spending should all go to AMEX whenever the merchant accepts it. If not accepting amex i will flash my aeon watami to get 3%. |

Do you mean by credit limit plus FD pledging you can get a higher tier credit card? Actually i have been pledging one month eFD with maybank for quite some time (around 15 months). I pledge 1 month just because in case of emergency i can withdraw it without much thoughts of losing the interest. However i think i should put this sum of money to a better return rate. Anyway back to the topic of credit limit + FD. Is it true by this way i can apply for a hihger tier card like VS? For example i have 10k credit limit and maybe 25-30k in eFD? Do advice |

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Jul 1 2015, 03:19 PM) not eFD, u need to go to branch to do this.. I see.apply the card as normal, then mentioning your interest to pledge for FD.. then credit department will come back with you how much you need to pledge.. then follow the instruction by the bank Then i can use the current eFD amount and pledge for normal FD. I'm afraid they will say fresh fund only which will add more procedures for me to withdraw out and deposit back into Maybank. |

yeah maskedchan is right.
I just reload TnG rm200 and plan to reload more next weekend. Pay my utilities and hit rm1k and then this card will be on the bottom or furthest behind slot in my wallet. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jul 10 2015, 05:07 PM) from RinggitPlus' feedback, the RM200 is a one-lumpsum "cash voucher". I heard the lazada voucher is not available for ikhwan card.e.g. u buy RM50 stuff and use the voucher, the difference RM150 will be used up as well. suggest you spend >=rm200 to better utilize the voucher instead. Is it true??!!! |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 13 2015, 10:27 PM) Sigh adding more and more cards to my wallet. Add aeon watami as your all purpose cardI don't want to cancel M2Cards due to sentimental reason but it is useless once 1st August comes. Will add Ikhwan and UOB soon maybe. Currently owning: 1) M2Cards Plat 2) CIMB Cash Rebate Plat 3) HLB MACH (dining 5%) 4) OCBC GE Plat 5) Aeon Gold MC 6) RHB Plat 7) AmBank Plat (already approved but haven't received yet) |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 5 2015, 09:17 AM) bottom of the conversion form here I see.read thru all the FAQs and checklists for the conversion to take place. not that straightforward if you have existing mbb cards or EzyPay. Thanks for the information. I guess i will wait until my BT installments end then. |
