I just paid Streamyx last weekend with AMEX in M2U.

TNB is YES.

Maxis no idea.

Maxis accepts Amex through auto debit.

If the weekend 5% cash back is taken away what is the benefit of having this card anymore?

It may not be fully taken away, as speculated, it could be limited to DINING only.
*
I rarely dine outside. Hmm, let's see what will be in the announcement then.

I guess it's really time to say goodbye to maybank2cards and switched to something else then. But need to clear the debts first.

In 2013, when I visit Korea. I bought railway ticket, the cashier gave me 2 bill, (one is from Seoul goto A, another is A back to Seoul) both same amount. I swipe with MBB AMEX and MBB Visa, max 5 mins in between 2 swipe.

When my MBB bill came, AMEX is cheaper than Visa.  rolleyes.gif

Maybe AMEX and Visa using different exchange rate, and AMEX rate is better than VISA even with 2.5% admin charge but still cheaper than Visa.

So this mean that for overseas travel it is better to use our Amex than visa/MasterCard?

Is it just me or Maybank has been rather slow in sending e-statements out (via email) this month?
*
I got it like usual. Every 15th of the month. This month as well.
