Erm. I thought should be open to all categories? Same now Amex cant be used to pay in all restaurants too. Perhaps I should just say TNB, Streamxy and Unifi. But online payment is good as it includes everything online.

Just made online bill payment and maximise cashback from Amex for the last time. RIP Amex.

5x reward points yes. But I forsee myself using Amex much lesser going forward, not many places accept Amex too. There're many more card offering much better perks out there.

10% Petrol, dining & telco bill - Wise (might be changing Wise category from Petrol to Groceries as I will be using lesser Petrol later months)
2% Utilities (auto debit) & 5% Online purchases - CIMB Cashback
5% Petrol & 2% Groceries - Citibank Cashback

1.25% Amex.. Hmm.. maybe can use for Guardian & Watson. But then I can reload my TnG at groceries place and use TnG to pay for it.

Ya. That's why Amex is pretty much a useless card after yesterday. Can keep at home as there's no annual fee.

Dy loaded most of the stuff pre-GST. Trying to spend less to save more bullets.

This weekend ady Aug bro, no more 5% cashback. Dont think petrol will drop much.

Did you read the TnC? Clause 2.1 stated

All new and existing Principal Cardmembers of American Express Credit/Charge Card(s) issued by Maybank (Malaysia) and/or Maybank Islamic Berhad (“Eligible Cardmembers”)

M2C Amex is American Express Credit card.

Anyway, even if you swipe now, very likely cannot get the cashback as many have already swiped long ago.
