Both of these cards are good if you can spend a lot. I don't spend a lot, that's the problem. laugh.gif
For groceries and petrol, you can also consider Maybank Ikhwan and UOB One for petrol I think.

If you have an annual income of RM 100k, PBB Visa Signature and Maybank Visa Signature are good.
Else, you have to mix and match with different cards but still most of us still haven't sorted the utilities bills payment to maximize cash back.

There are annual fees for these cards, right? Are there conditions to get the annual fees waived?

Easy peasy for PBB VS: First year annual fee is waived for principal and supplementary cardmembers. Subsequent years' annual fee waived is subject to 12 swipes in the preceding 12 months.
Not so easy peasy for MBB VS: Principal: RM550, FREE for the first year. Subsequent years FREE if spend a min of RM50,000 and above per annum

UOB One had a quota for petrol rebate, so have to pump early in the month. Then recently also change their rebate to weekends only. So I guess can only get rebate if we pump within the first few weekends of the month. rclxub.gif

UOB One no longer has the RM900,000 petrol quota smile.gif and to be precise the rebate is not weekend only, as you can still get 2% cashback on weekdays.

RM300 per month for Classic still not enough? hmm.gif

they changed to 2% weekdays and 5% weekend. You can try calculate if you can reach RM300 cap based on your previous month spending to see enough or not.

how to settle? walk in to any branch?
*
In my situation, i call them, asked them how to make the full settlement for my EPP.
Then they will give an email address to email all the details:

1- Which EPP (Installment) that you want to full settle.
2- From which account.

After approval, they will credited the balance of the EPP to your account, then you can pay it normally.

From my tele conversation with the operator, they said nothing to charge if we full settle the EPP earlier.

For those getting ready to hunt for other cards, keep in mind, chances are other banks might be revising their benefits eventually too, if they haven't already.

it's just that OCBC started it earlier. then now mbb. couldn't have expected the 5% cash back to last forever.
