MBB drastic action is spreading to other banks. PBB VS cashback quota is reduced to RM50 now.

How much was it previously?
It was RM60, but luckily they retain the % and categories.

Throwing suggestion, why not platinum card holder get the current cashback for Amex while only gold card holder limited for 5% cashback for dining. I think it would be better this way. Besides, not much difference between plat and gold anyway. Except for gold privillege and travel insurance.
*
this is a suggestion that you should direct to maybank, not here laugh.gif

Is installment payment plan entitled for weekend cashback? I spent <RM1,000 excluding IPP last month but got cashback RM50. The first installment amount has yet to appear in statement though...
*
You will get the cashback in one lump sum max rm50 if you swipe on weekends

Cashback for this month is strange, so confident that i will be getting at least RM25 Cash back from a RM500 purchase at City Chain during weekend but end up getting only RM8.35 Cash Back.
Guys, any reference that i could log a complain to MBB?
Thanks.
*
Maybe you can recheck whether all your transactions are on on weekend first. You can call cs to get an answer too.

Just reviewed my statement: no, RM10 is not recorded as last payment. Minimum payment balance is still 5% of overall amount due.
*
The cashback RM10 is considered as a payment. Thus, what others have pointed out is valid. You only need to pay RM390 to clear the statement balance.

I was told that they are still considering whether to :

1) Proceed with the implementation without further changes.
2) To delay the implementation to a later date.
3) To offer an additional category in addition to dining for cashback, possibly petrol or grocery!
*
heh, so my request to prasys to tweet them about additional catogery is being considered.

Agreed with you. Paying bills at M2U is so convenient!

Petrol & groceries can go to MBB Ikhwan Mastercard!

What if they insert a T&C like PBB VS, payment thru the bank portal is not counted? I vote for Online + Dining too. Or if possible, I prefer to ditch dining for Pharmacy (watson, guardian, caring, etc).

A public service to all, redeem all your TP before you terminate your card if you do not own any other cards carrying TP.

report the case to bnm as according to bnm credit card guidelines, the maximum liability for unauthorised transaction due to lost/stolen card shall not exceed rm250.
*
the unauthorised transaction was few months back I believe, in this case, the bank would claim negligence on the cardholder part? hmm.gif

Hysteridull you said the legal team threaten your friend. what kind of threats?
