I'm buying this stuff, for e.g.: http://www.lazada.com.my/card-holders-leat...ue-1430726.html
How to go from Milkadeal? Once I clicked into the stuff, the affiliated link went off.

Sigh, I will just stick to Maybank promo then.
*
oh, you mean the link went off. that's ok, it has been tracked. i thought you browsed too long, then you will need to click again for safety. but even if you don't, just contact them and they will check and reinstate the missing cash into your account.

otherwise, just buy 2 pan pizza (pizza hut) at rm2 via rhb privilege app. i did that and ate very full for my breakfast, lunch, dinner.

don't rush for that first. if they change their cc benefits one by one, the next might be on ikhwan or vs.

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Jun 26 2015, 03:34 PM)
actually what BNM doing are pressuring the merchant to lower their price as merchant usually pass the interchange fees back to consumers..
this is a good move from BNM but knowing how businessman doing business in Malaysia, no way they going to lower their price...
implementation of 6% GST on April are a good example..

so indirectly, we get lesser benefit from bank, merchant still selling same price, bank nothing to lose..
consumer are the bigger loser here  doh.gif
*
i don't mind if this move by bnm is able to encourage more merchant to enable cc payment. then although we lose on quality (lesser cb percentage) but we earn from quantity (if we are able to use cc at mamak stalls, pasar malam, kopitiam, etc.)

do you think mamak, pasar malam and kopitiam will do it?  whistling.gif
when i go to singapore, i dont see mamak, kopitiam accept cc..
the most are on fast food and some bakery shop..
*
lol... i should add one more line to my comment "...but that's not the case!"

The 5% cashback dining is only stated in the pop out message and not on the Card Benefit page as what I can see. This will mislead people. I am not sure if the product disclosure will be updated accordingly
*
the reason they only maintain 5% on dining is because this category has less abuse. petrol/bills/grocery/departmental all can control exact amount to pay.

Lol. What a bummer!

Just when I thought of upgrading to platinum.

I'll most likely cancel this card. It's totally useless to me if they do limit the cash back on dining only.

Any recommendations for petrol and utilities?
*
uob one and cimb cr.

Are you refering to CIMB cash back CC? For utilities, it is only 2% cash back.
*
yes, unlike the other choices like hlb wise and aeon watami, uob one and cimb cr have no additional minimum spending criteria to meet to get the cashback.

you are right there. maybe they should be more flexible and allow 5% dining on everyday, not on weekend only. give us consolation abit.
*
yeah, i believe it's not too much for us to request for this as consolation. besides, many dining places not accepting amex anyway. lol...

don't worry, 1.25% still a good reason for people to ask to pay with amex. besides, dining places still have 5% ma, so you will update more on f&b category later on.

or worse come to worse, you may follow others and send in your resume to fruitie. brows.gif

On the spot Parkson voucher redemption is RM50 = 20000 TP?
*
yes, should be, since it's based on 400tp = rm1. but haven't go to clarify.

But just wondering why did they removed it? Well I just got the card last month, if I cancel after august, will I be penalized? Thanks.  unsure.gif  rclxub.gif
*
you have every right to cancel the card. besides, you can always say that you applied for the card because of the weekends 5%. since it is revised, you don't see any reason to keep it.

QUOTE(bee993 @ Jun 27 2015, 01:58 AM)
Just browse the mbb2kard there...cashback stay but pop up show 5% for weekend dining..

Maybe tomolo wake up it will become 5%dining using visa/master and amex cb unchange😁

I've been using Maybank 2 cards since 2011. What a sad moved taken by Maybank to end the amex weekend 5% cashback.

Dear /k sifu,

Any recommendations good cashback cards except uob, pbb, hl and cimb?

Thank you.
*
/k sifu? are you at the wrong section? laugh.gif
if you exclude all the big banks, what do you expect? tongue.gif
anyway, there's still vva+am1 cc which offering 3% cb per quarter for you to try.

QUOTE(bunnyzai @ Jun 28 2015, 09:35 AM)
Way to spend my morning... Researching about cc  sweat.gif

So far, I found the alternative... For annual income >RM30K

Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan Gold Card = 5% cb on petrol n groceries

MBBAmex = 5% dining as stated

HLB Wise = 10% cb

PB Visa Signature = 6% on dining, groceries and online transcation.

Probably I will cancel MBBAmex and take HLB Wise (therefore increase my spending  doh.gif ) or just use Ikhwan + PB Visa
*
if you are qualified for p66 v5, why not... nod.gif

QUOTE(Smurfs @ Jun 28 2015, 10:03 AM)
pb visa signature minimun income requirement is rm 30k ?

min income requirement for p66 v5 is rm100k...

Foresee Next from MBB, no more free annual fees card.
Need to spend certain amount to waive annual fees.  whistling.gif

Since it still free now. Just keep and use when got chance
*
if mbb start a survey for users to choose either to pay af or have the 5% weekends cb taken away, which one will you choose?
