if i cancel my mbb2cards now and decides to reapply in a few months, will it be a new application or they have the option to reactivate it?

Just wonder how come got option to reactive credit card.

If u want bank to process the application again rather than active it, u can tell them u have cut the credit card.

Maybank practise to give new credit card no when customer report fault case and terminate the card.

as far as i know from reading the other topics, some banks allow customer to reactivate their cc after 'terminating' it within a few months. rather than going through d whole application process again.

If the weekend 5% cash back is taken away what is the benefit of having this card anymore?

It may not be fully taken away, as speculated, it could be limited to DINING only.

Cancel a few of your CCs. Not that many CCs give good benefits nowadays.

Unlimited 1.25% cash back in the form of shopping voucher ? That's better than most VISA/MC in the market.

If you choose Aeon Big gift card, Cb can be 1.3%

yup, 1 contest can win up to few k to 28k...which is equivalent to few years cash back ..hahaha
every year end surely there will be some good AMEX contest, winning rate is high as it is first come first serve instead of random.

I would totally go for that if it had petrol! That's the major expense which is not covered by my WISE (groceries, utilities). Dining spend is not very much, online even less.
