Hopefully a good place to ask away.

My company is moving in a few months and they opened the store room after ages.

Deep inside the room are some real old gems still new in their boxes unopened, including 33 Kbps modem and half a dozen copies of Windows 98.

The boxes look just like below:

Still sealed with the plastic.

Is there any real value today? Perhaps prized for collector's out there? biggrin.gif

Okay. Now is your chance to relive that moment again by buying one. I would say most computers today meets Win 98's requirement. laugh.gif

rclxms.gif I would say Win 98 cannot meet computer's requirement rclxm9.gif Need to find "DRIVERS" to move the Car<hardware> tongue.gif

After 10 year, you need to find a wheelchair <CD-drive> to help her <Win 98> to get into the car. blush.gif

The nostalgia is strong in this thread. First OS I used was 95!

OP if you don't mind, I'd love to keep a copy for collection sake as I treasure such stuffs (not gonna scalp it) biggrin.gif

That is the "Windows 98 UPGRADE".
That means, users have to be running Windows 95 to properly install it.

If it is "Windows 98" by itself, that is the standalone operating system.
