Unifi Choosing the correct Unifi router (own experience), TP-Link vs Asus for Unifi

I saw few modem routers from asus https://www.asus.com/Networking/xDSL-Modem-Routers-Products/My question are 1. If there is a thing why people choose to buy separate router? 2. Is it recommended to have these two devices separately? 3. Does it work with unifi and hypptv box? I have to on/off my router quite frequently now due to no internet connection even though hypptv box is still streaming uninterrupted. Not sure what's the problem. |

The routers listed below as they are fully compatible with Unifi with HyppTV working out of the box. Once you purchased the new router, request your Unifi ID and Password from TM.
