I just bought the Tp-link TL-WR1043ND to replace my stock unifi router.
1)Very stable compared to the Stock unifi especially when playing on line games
2)Longer range, can reach back room with still full bars.
3)Can connect a USB Hardisk and make it into a Network to share.
No more cabut pasang cabut pasang the USB HDD. Now it can be networked shared.
4)Faster Ethernet connection especially for media player.
5)Hyyptv works like it used too.

Dislikes
1)Set was new but already have someones unifi name and password inside not erased (!!!)
Is it factory standard or someone else have used the set?
2)After connecting first to the Laptop nothing happen, actually Windows will ask to whether to connect or not, if slow to ask means you will be wondering why no connection.
3)Set comes with CAT5 cables?..I was expecting at least CAT5e grade (latest stuff are the CAT6)
4) Android and iphong network sharing of the USB handisk is not as easy and download apps to start transfering files and viewing them.5) Inorder to take advantage of the gigabit, your minimum requirement cable is CAT5e and other components need to gigabit capable too. (no fault of TP-Link...its the system) So throw away those CAT5 cables and use CAT5e and CAT6.

If you want just basic Router with gigabit network (for streaming HD) and includes USB slot for networking, i think this is the cheapest (if not compared to the elcheapo Dlink brand)
Overall Satisfied.

I'm using this Asus RT-N12 D1 router, as an upgrade over the stock unifi router. I'm also a 30MB Unifi subscriber.

Am very happy with the router. No problems as of now. Really satisfied with it.
