CD Projekt was an unknown Indie developer when they made The Witcher 1, so can't really expect AAA quality back then. They didn't even know if The Witcher 1 will even succeed. So we really gotta cut them some slack.

And yes, I was laughing at the horrible animations for The Witcher 1 when I played, the way they hold the sword and swaying their bodies. That was kinda stupid and hilarious.

The Witcher 2 is a huge improvement obviously because of the success of The Witcher 1, which in turn means more funding for them to make a better product, which they did. It had 2 totally different story paths half way through depending on your choices. But the main problem would probably be that it is quite linear (it will only be a problem if you expect RPGs to not be too linear.) The Witcher 2 was probably more of an ARPG.

Then The Witcher 3 totally blows The Witcher 2 out of the water with so many improvements, of course still there were some changes that probably isn't that good, like the fact that your hotkeys are limited to make it work on the gamepad.

SO yeah, just clarifying I guess, because The Witcher 1 really was not an AAA product when compared to The Witcher 3. Damn The Witcher 1's cutscenes were horribly done if you noticed, transition was weird and awkward.

Dishonored is cool.. I mean.. I loathe fps, like figuratively speaking I would rather kiss a cobra in the back of its head than play fps game.. But Dishonored has its charm.. But why though they have big ass gun strapped on their chest..

back in witcher 1 era, cdpr was a small unknown studio outside of poland. they didn't have much money, what did you expect?

but witcher 1 was a commercial success, so cdpr got money. Now they can afford to invest in AAA quality stuff. but they were too ambitious, halfway through money ran out, so witcher 2 had a lot of cut content

but then came witcher 3, where the devs had the money and you know the rest of the story

Some discounts don't cut as deep as they used to.
Some devs jack up their base price before heading into the sales

Now this is a much more better complaint because have more words that explained what you hate about the game than simply this suck or that suck . Anyway as others had explained the first of the series was an unexpected hit at the time, not many people even knew about it when it was initially release. The third one is bigger than the previous 2 combined together, worth the download, and if you dont like it within the first 2 hour of playing you can refund it .

Too bad i can't play any FPS...makes me dizzy and vomit...even some 3rd person game like Sleeping dogs makes me dizzy (the driving sequence).

Btw, today's deal not interesting again...nothing to buy...cukur. Wait tomorrow.

But yeah, different people have different opinion about stuffs. Even games that have 10/10 rating might not appeal to certain people. 1/10 might be enjoyable for others.

Motion sickness eh? I read that chewing ginger helps(not sure about motion sickness while gaming though, should be the same). That's too bad though with the age of virtual reality fast approaching

it's really bad for me...after playing even like 10 minutes, starts to sink in...if i play for 15-30 minutes, sure whole night kepala pusing-pusing and feel vomit and hard to sleep.

I get that everytime I play a game that can't run @ 60fps. So I will make sure every game I play to be able to reach 60fps. Even when it means to turn down some visuals. One of the reason I don't play Witcher 3. Still using my old 7850.

I used to have those dizziness issue too when play FPS but now i learn that readjusting the FOV help me to play without dizziness. Before i cant play for 1hour in Payday 2 because of that and after a friend told me to slide the FOV bar more and the dizziness gone
