No one would guard for you.
But the Shower/toilet space is big enough to store your big luggage, no worries. biggrin.gif

it's a private room with toilet and shower in it. Shower is separated with glasses, so you don't have to worry your luggage will get wet. And the toilet is a dry toilet. You can lock the door and enjoy your shower and worry free for your luggage.

Just tell the reception you would like to use the shower and they will get you to fill up a one liner form and that's it! All towels, shampoo, soap are prepared for.

I was referring to the KLIA2 PPL@Gateway lounge that is located at level 2M, within the shopping mall, below the Departure hall.

And yes, the lounge is quite small, but the shower rooms are all inside.

Unless it's too crowded at peak hour, otherwise, the staff doesn't really care if you stayed for more than 3 hours.

Thanks!

Hi, from what i understand currently AMEX is the only card that offers unlimited access to PPL KLIA, KLIA2, Penang and Kota Kinabalu right? I will be flying at least 4 times a month for the next 4 years, so i'm thinking to apply AMEX cc just for lounge entry purpose. At the moment i'm more keen to apply AMEX Krisflyer than platinum in view of cheaper annual fee (RM250 vs RM800, but fees waived for 1st year for both cards) even tho i won't be flying with SIA.

I have a few questions to AMEX card holders before i send in my application

1. unlimited PPL entry literally means.. unlimited right? I assume with the same card i will be able to enter say Penang PPL before departure and KLIA2 gateway after landing within the same day

2. there are no conditions for the unlimited lounge access? i.e. minimum spending. i've read thru the website t&c but didn't come across any related conditions. so far none of you were denied entry right? as i do not plan to do any significant swipes with amex, so spending will be minimal and i'm not sure if there will be a risk with that

3. AMEX card holders are entitled to unlimited GM meals right? I tried to browse all 26pages of this thread and realized that it wasn't consistent. Some managed to get complimentary meals, some got rejected, and later on some ppl still able to get free meals. rclxub.gif So i'm wondering what's the latest situation. I have a colleague who just went to GM 2 weeks ago and was shown the list of eligible cc and he told me that AMEX wasn't in the list. When asked about other cc (didn't specifically mention AMEX), the staffs there said that only those in the list will be entitled free meals from corporate menu.

4. Is there any way to waive amex annual fees for subsequent years? How long has been amex offering unlimited ppl access, and how often do they review their terms? hopefully they will retain this benefit for the longest time possible tongue.gif

hope someone helpful can enlighten me about this matter, thank you in advance!

apply AEON Credit Card (jusco version), and AEON BIG credit card (carrefour version)
each give you 6 visits to PPL, total you will have 12.
then apply mbb visa signature, get another 5 visit.

total 17 enough?
*
LOL! thanks for your input biggrin.gif
if i'm not mistaken AEON charges RM100 annual fee right?
that's why after weighing the cons and pros i find that amex krisflyer is still the most practical cc for domestic frequent flyer, solely for lounge entry purpose. at least for 1st year we get unlimited access to all PPLs (for free, and without conditions) then we can decide on whether to keep the card for subsequent years (RM250 chargeable, still worthwhile imho if we're flying several times each month) but most likely by that time we already got bored of PPL laugh.gif

No need to call and beg. laugh.gif

I'm actually wondering... how do u ppl keep track of ur number of swipes over a year? tongue.gif
like in cases say someone own multiple cards for other benefits (PPL?) yet rarely use, just need to swipe to fulfill the requirements each year
do u record every usage or refer to statement one by one laugh.gif

if no new updates then i assume all cc privileges for complimentary ppl access remain the same for jan 2016? hmm.gif

Any recommendation for annual salary around rm84k? Looking to get a premium plaza lounge access card... if possible plz recommend 2 to 3 types of selection... Many thanks in advance!
*
imho, for ur range the most suitable card for ppl access would be aeon gold (6x), maybank visa signature (5x), amex platinum/krisflyer (unlimited).. but their terms can be revised anytime
