I have tried applying Amex Plat online twice and rejected, but approved immediately after a working day applying at Maybank the Gardens. So lesson learnt, never apply through maybank2u. They will reject it because of ?commission issue

I have mbb visa signature but they have just reduced the PPL entry to 5x per year. I am going to cancel the maybank2card soon. I am not getting much rebate or discounts from these two cards

Maybank Visa Signature - no free access to PPL
Maybank Visa Infinite - 5x/year free access to PPL, discontinue priority pass
Maybank World Mastercard - 5x/year free access to PPL, discontinue priority pass
Amex platinum credit card - no free access to PPL
Krisflyer Amex - 5x/year free access to PPL
Amex Platinum Charge Card - 12x/year free access to PPL
Amex Gold Charge Card - no free access to PPL (from 1st March 2016 onwards)

very true. I am flying more with MAS now. AA ticket is not cheap as before. I have enrich gold so I can use the golden lounge whenever I flew MAS
