Green Market is not a lounge but a restaurant, anyone also can enter.

The key thing is whether you can eat certain meals as complimentary, that's all.

he say successful means can use la, are we doing the english class here? sweat.gif

A few questions.

1. For KLIA2, there is PPL International Departure KLIA2 (next to Gate L8) and PPL (Gateway@KLIA2), which is recommended?

2. Are those napping rooms, massages free? Also, fax and international calls, pay per use or what?

3. The Green Market is at another place different from PPL. As pointed earlier by forumers, there are complimentary Japanese meals.

4. Wellness Spa - What is free here?

5. The BAR ( mezzanine, KLIA2, airside) - all drinks here complimentary?
Basically, after browsing through the PPL website, I find it confusing that they list everything out but without saying which ones are complimentary and which ones are pay per use. Anybody can enlighten a bit? Thanks!

1. Neither, i would not enter these lounge again unless i need beer. Green Market serve better food. Before discovery of Green Market i just go to whichever that is convenient for me. If my departure gate is L I would choose the one next to L8. If P/Q gate I would visit Spa Wellness. If very early flight and depart from P/Q I would choose Gateway cos Spa Wellness close from 12AM - 7AM.

3. Located at the shops in front of the check in counters, on your right hand side if you are facing the departure gate.

4. Food, drinks & wifi?

But it looks like Green Market is basically a Japanese restaurant with some fresh juices? Aren't the lounges more comfortable with those big sofas?
*
it is a restaurant.

so it depends on what you are looking for.

not buffet style. With the portion they are serving, who needs buffet. I struggle to finish the meal.

you will be made to choose

1. choice of salad
2. choice of main course
3. choice of beverage

Something is wrong with them.

I guess we need more cards now. Since there is no more GST
*
These are premium cards that come with high annual fee.

Gosh even AEON gold is better now with 6x annually

I guess PPL will be less crowded now

Bro, actually the MBB VI has 10X FREE entries - 5X with just the card + 5X with Priority Pass Membership Card.

As for the MBB VS, it still earns the cardholder 5% cash back for Petrol and Groceries everyday capped at RM88/month or RM1,056/year which is very good.

Ya but PP better use for oversea. For me its a waste to use in Klia2 biggrin.gif

I guess your 2015 credit card showdown has to be one of the saddest in your blog LOL

which klia2 pl is the best?
*
IMHO

Food -
1. The Green Market
2. Gateway @ KLIA2
3. Plaza Premium Lounge (Gate L)
4. Wellness Spa (Gate P/Q)

If you want to have light meal with some beer & airport view before departure, Wellness Spa.

Hi bearbear,

all the KLIA 2 PL food provided? or just certain PL?
*
Sure all serve food.

green market serve set consist of salad and a main course (korean or japanese or western)

The other PL varies

Gateway is buffet usually rice/noodle with 2 side dishes. In the morning they also serve porridge.

PPL (gate L) serve upon order, usually food like noodle soup and etc

Wellness spa is like Gateway but i find the choice very limited.

If fly international, usually Wellness Spa is the closest to the gate right? So far in KLIA2, only been to Wellness Spa. laugh.gif

Yes but still depends on airline, sometimes also will get L gate (especially Malindo).

Some Airasia flights do end up being at Gate L side, my Bangkok flight last week was at Gate L side.

The food made to order in Gate L PPL is actually pretty decent.  I tried the curry laksa made by the nice malay auntie in the Gate L PPL and it was considered delicious for free airport food. Saw the hot dog which looked decent as well but I wanted to leave space for Thai food after I land so I skipped it. The beer there is also now draught instead of Tiger cans in the fridge, which is great, just like in KLIA PPL.

Wellness Spa is more for the view and relaxing ambience I would say. Gateway is just too far from takeoff point and slightly more hectic unless you reach KLIA way too early prior to your flight. That or you arrive early to pick someone up arriving at KLIA2, good place to chill.
*
Back then when Maybank still offer unlimited entry

Arrive early, have my lunch at Gateway

Check in

Chill at Wellness Spa

I guess that's why the remove it laugh.gif sweat.gif
